Lee seems out of his depth.

I've found him unprofessional on a number of occassions, the most recent being the poor quality pitch he gave tonight. But also in the past when he verbally attacked Sara and when he swore profusely during his time as task leader.

I also deem him to be quite fickle. He had developed a good working relationship with Lucinda but was quick to throw it away once he was teamed up with his pal Alex.

He's also self-admittedly "thick"

Why is he still there??

I agree. After tonight I do not see any redeeming features from Lee at all.

Because he's always on the winning team.

He's a bit of a yob.

Yet people bang on about how awful Michael is.

Lee needs Lucinda to shine that was patently obvious tonight. However, he threw his hat in with Alex and looked an absolute plonker to be honest.

He looks lost half the time.

He's there mostly because of luck. Helene is another person who I really don't think contributes significantly but is floating by. I have a feeling they will probably be the final two.

Precisely.

I said something similar on another thread. Lee should not have damaged his alliance with Lucinda. She was trying to help and advise him and he threw it back her face.

Helene is about as much use as an ashtray on a speedboat.

Tonight at least, Lee came up with the best names for the tissues - Cosynose, Atishu were good ideas compared to `I Love My Tissues` !

That's the word I've been looking for to describe them!

Atishu was good...but coseynose? how is a nose cosey? no one thinks 'oh, I wish my nose was cosier' now do they?

Personally I think they would have been better if they were branded "A-tish-oo!".

Have you ever had a streaming cold and your nose is so red and sore from wiping it

Lee's aggression is always bubbling just under the surface about to erupt. He is a most unpleasant oik

In the previews for next week,
Spoiler
was it Lee or Alex who threw their briefcase across the floor because the door stuck (can't remember if it was shown at the end of the main show or Your Fired)?

I think Lucinda would have broken the patients of a saint last night. No way could you justify her whinging and negativity. Good on Lee for picking up on it and saying so. The boy has done well imo and she needed to be told that she was out of order

Pretty sure that was Lee...

I like Lee but as a previous poster said he needs Lucinda to help him shine. Throwing his hat in with Alex the slime last night was a very bad move on his behave. Sorry for going off track but why does Alex behave like a sullen teenager all the time.

In Lee's defence, I think his pitch sounded awful because of all the last minute changes being made to it by Lucinda - but that is just speculation based on editing and Margaret's comments, so who knows.

However, I also liked it when he tried to calm things down between Alex and Lucinda and there was one moment when he conceded a point saying he was there for the team - a shame people like Claire don't have a similar attitude.

Mind you I was a bit p!ssed as I had been watching the Champions League final, so maybe I have got things wrong?

Feel free to go off-topic and lay into Alex. He annoys the hell out of me too

Absolutely agree. If they had listened to her criticisms they would have lost. There was only 2 in their team last night. She came accross as an irratating bloody know all, true colours showing. I can't understand what she has done that is so good

I disagree.

The winning team only triumphed because their advert was more in-your-face that the opposition. It had nothing to do with the packaging or pitch, both of which were appalling, and were the features Lucinda expressed dissatisfaction with.

Had Lucinda had her way, they would have secured a more comfortable victory instead of merely winning my default.

I agree with Sid on this, the pitch was cringeworthy compared to Claires and although Raefs ad didn't have a pack shot it was a stronger concept, more original and better excectued.
Lee sounded like he couldn't read and the ad was amateurish BUT as you could tell what they were selling they won by default. Had (the lovely) Lucinda been leading the task they'd have probably come up with better ideas because she did seemed to have her head round the task
