He's a Spurs fan so I shan't be too harsh on him

But with the exception of Kevin Shaw, he's the worst candidate on show. He truly has 'blagged' his way this far. I can't explain it. If as Sir Al has said that Rafe is lucky to have been in the BR only twice, then Lee is the luckiest man alive to not even have been in once

And the reason is that he is so unimportant, that he is never deemed to blame for failure.

I agree.

His inexperience is showing more with each show. He just doesn't cut the mustard.

Lucinda was being a dfficult cow, Lee was justified in how he acted. The speech was a shambles though, good job it turned out to be superfluous.

In what way? All the flaws she pointed out were echoed by Sir Alan.

Lee should have been fired for that pitch - during it.

Its clear that if Alex's team had lost then Lee would have been fired. Lucinda was annoying, however that pitch from what we saw was absolutely dreadful. It must have been amongst the worst ever seen on the Apprentice.

He wittered on, and on, and on, looking back to places in notes that took him long periods of time to find and wittered on and on and on and bored them all to tears.

Sir Alan was not impressed and stressed this point, even when he knew they had won the task. That surely that speaks volumes.

No, because all Sir Al cared about what the sodding advert, Lee could have been shagging a pig during that pitch and he wouldn't have been fired.

Lee reminds me of a labrador my mum once had, who was shot through the eye when it was little. Most of the time he was loveable, loyal and fun to be with, but occasionally he would go mental and attack other dogs for no reason. I think she had to have him put down eventually.

Alex on the other hand is a show dog: bred to look good but nothing else. He might win you Cruffts, but wouldn't be much fun to play with. If you had a baby he'd probably bite it 'cus it was getting more attention than him.

Helene is a bulldog. Does exactly what it says on the tin, but not much else. And woe betide you if you get the wrong side of her.

Lucinda would be a sheep dog: very good at rounding up the sheep and getting them to go where the master wanted, without producing anything tangible herself. No wool or lamb from her, thank you very much.

Raef turned out to be a Dashund: immaculately turned out, but ultimately coming up a little short.

And Claire? Well she would be one of those little yappy dogs like a Chihuahua. If it had been involved in a dangerous experiment. Imagine a Chihuahua being chased into that machine that Jeff Goldbleum invented in The Fly by a hippopotamus, and you're somewhere on the right lines.

I don't think she was being difficult, the other two were more difficult for not taking too well to her constructive criticism.

I may be in the minority but I feel that Lee has actually been the best perfomer of the candidates so far.

I accept his pitch in the tissue task was not good but in his defence there were clear problems with his preparation and his team members were not being very helpful. In response to SAS critisism he was clearly gutted but accepted it and promised to improve. He could have tried to offer an excuse or blamed someone else but he did not.

A lot of people have referred to his rant at Sara which was not a good reflection of him however it does appear to an isolated incident. Those who have been fired all like him and have said that was not like Lee so we should maybe give him the benefit of the doubt.

When he has been a project manager Lee has shown himself to have the people skills to be a good team leader even though some of these methods might be a bit odd (the bird screech) but he managed get a good team spirit from everyone and as a result people did their best for him. In every task he has done he was worked hard and tried to do the best for his team. When there have been problems he has tried to get people to work for the team and I have never seen him try and undermine the authority of a team leader. (in the case of Lucinda he came to her defence when she was been attacked in one task). Hit pitch may not have been great but he can clearly sell (wedding task) and his name for the tissue was brilliant showing he can be creative as well.

So far he has done really well and I feel he has been the best candidate so far.

On the contrary. I think Alex has been unlucky to be on the losing team so many times. He's the opposite of Rafe who, though I will miss him, I have to agree with SAS that he had been lucky to not be on the losing team more than twice.

I think Lee & Alex are the dark horses of this series

When he has been a project manager Lee has shown himself to have the people skills to be a good team leader even though some of these methods might be a bit odd (the bird screech) but he managed get a good team spirit from everyone and as a result people did their best for him. I am so glad I am not alone in seeing Lee this way. He has taken a pounding poor chap for one lapse. He is eager, manages to take his team along with him and always gives credit where it is due

A tad harsh surely firing him would be enough
