Sky Plus with a TV Link
Hi
I want to set up a wireless sky tv link from the sky plus box to another TV. Any ideas on what i should buy? I want wireless, but is this the best option? If it does need to be by wires, i do have a wire from the dish to my room as i have 4 inputs due to having Sky Plus. Thanks |

You either fit a video sender (wirelessly) or run a coax cable from the RF2 out on the Sky+ to the remote TV...it has nothing to do with the dish/downlead.

A good wireless video sender will also include a remote control extender, so you can change channels on the STB from the other room. But picture quality will most likely be composite, and won't be as good as RGB or even S-Video.

Did you "Save new Settings"? Plug it in directly to the RF2 on the back of the box without the coax extension and tell us if the led on the TV link is lit? |

The cable i am using is brand new, its a satellite coax cable.I was having problems putting the female connector to the cable to connect to the RF2 port. I could be putting this on wrong as the copper wire will not go all the way up the female connector? |

Standard coax cable is fine for most indoor extensions and fits the coax connectors better.
The fault can only be in the fitting of the connectors...just make sure the inner solid core doesn't touch the outside braid. |

I reset box and even reconnected the female connector and all seems fine now.
The female connector is playing up so must be that, i did exchange it for a new one again so might do it again? Do you think it is that? |
