.... he is Jewish. Even though he would go to a Halal butcher for a kosher chicken.

If he wasn't Jewish, he would have long gone. Raef being eliminated is the next in a long line of stupid firings Sir Alan has made.

Forgive me for being upset. First Man U win and now Raef is gone. Bad night.

Just because Sir Alan is Jewish you are saying that. I just think that Michael acts like a little puppy in the boardroom and Sir Alan feels sorry for him.

Of course. There is no other reason why he should be there.

The other make one mistake and they are gone. He continues to go into the boardroom and manages to survive.

Sir Alan has lost it.

Not "I Love my Tissues"... more like SAS saying "I Love my Michael".

I reckon they are related.

Either that or Mike is doing Sir Al sexual favours in his en suite bog.

I'm not so sure - I have a horrible feeling he might even win this. Sir Alan seems to like him.

One of Michael's parents might be Jewish but based on the fact he did the sign of the cross on his way into the boardroom after the Morocco task, I would imagine he was baptised Christian.

A chronic bullshitter and SAS has fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

He won't win. The reason he's being kept in, is beciase Alan Suger knows he makes good television (whatever Sugar says about firing people on merit, the truth is, this is a television show, and he knows Michael makes for good television) But the time is coming soon, when Alan Suger has got to start getting it down to the genuine contenders, and Michael isn't one of them. My hunch is it'll be between him and Lucinda next week, and whichever one goes next week, the other one will go the week after.

Final two to be Alex and Lee, I think.

I do think Sir Alan's impartiality is beginning to look decidely shakey on this one. He's said on numerous occasions now that Michael reminds him of himself at that age, and it is quite shocking that other contestants get one shot in the boardroom and get fired, where as Michael gets chance after chance after chance.

Sir Alan fired Raef because he said he was just hot air - what exactly has Michael done to show his skills?

Interesting, also, that when it suits Sir Alan he fires someone based purely on that episode's task, but on other occasions he fires someone based on their conduct throughout the series.

Michael has lied and cheated, shown himself to be agressive and badly tempered in the board room and regularly been on the losing team. And yet he's still there.

If Sir Alan Sugar was biased purely on religion he would have got rid of Michael the week of the kosher chicken for bringing Judaeism into disrepute - he used the fact that one of his parents is Jewish as a way of apparently seeking an advantage and it backfired badly. He obviously knows more about the Greek Orthodox half than the Jewish half or why would he cross himself before going into the boardroom? I would say he is there now despite being partly Jewish rather than because of it.

I quite like Michael too. I think the show had been edited in Raef's favour. I'm glad Sir Alan has stamped his mark on it. Its not a popularity show but Sir Alan's search for someone he thinks he can work with.

i absolutely agree with you, hes only in it because he's jewish, the guy has been a disaster and raef getting fired was the final straw, its time to get someone it in to replace sugar

I know what you mean here but personally I am sick of the sight (and sound) of him There were many more reasons to keep Raef in than pathetic Michael.

Perhaps if Raef had been a young, jewish man he would have stayed in too.

I find Michael irritating beyond belief, but agree that he is being kept in for good tv. He is an odious, whining, idiot who can "do", petulant better than a seven year old. In all honesty on the basis of last night's task either Raef or Michael should have been fired, as there was nothing to choose between the two Sir Alan should have looked at previous tasks- Michael is a liar and a cheat and has deserved to be fired on may occasions so he should have gone.
As for the I love my tissues, the box was attractive the name was not!
The other team got lucky really, the product name was great and everything else was carp but they DID place their product, I could tell you the name of their tissues and the fact that they were anti-bacterial from the ad but I wouldn't have a clue from Raef's ad.

BTW I really like Lucinda but aren't we all forgetting something? Sir Alan just DOESN'T DO POSH!
Time and time again good candidates who are posh (e.g Miriam, James) get the boot near to the end (but not at the end) in favour of seemingly less able candidates who have less privileged backgrounds. IMHO Raef and Lucinda didn't stand a chance from day one!

Perhaps Surallan has a position in male escort services opening up. Michael can feign excitement for anything, lest we forget.
