Speechless....
What on EARTH was that?
Seriously. What the hell? Raef getting fired? This is beyond comprehension. He does well every single week and contrary to what Nick said, there clearly was a lot behind the elegant talk. Raef consistently performed well in most tasks, albeit not fantastically but given that Michael went into the boardroom and lied like I've never see an Apprentice lie before (why the hell did Margaret not intervene?) Sir Alan should have fired him for that. Michael is a god damn liar, who lacks any dignity and honesty. As far as I'm concerned, I've lost faith in Sir Alan's decisions this series. For the first time, ever - I really am not looking forward to next week's episode. There's just nothing particularly exciting and it just leaves me incredibly annoyed like I am now. I tend to forget it's a TV show sometimes! I won't be watching any more. |

I can't watch at the moment - working away from home - but the series is being recorded for me. Not sure I can bear to watch the departure of the lovely Raef whilst Michael still occupies a place.
From what I've read on the boards - shame on Sir Alan! |

I was speechless too!!
I was like Michael or Claire are going to get fired yaaay!! But Mr Alan turned the tables. He can fire who he likes even if they've done nothing wrong and makes up a stupid excuse to why he's fired them I didn't even like Raef, but he didn't deserve to go

LOL LOL
....I totally and absolutely agree with you.SA himself has gone back on his own word. To keep on both Michael and Claire versus Raef, says more about SA than anyone in that whole boardroom. SA is the biggest joke in the boardroom as far as I'm concerned. |

This isn't the first time Sir Alan has gone back on his word. Last series he fired Jadine as he said she wasn't the 'finished product' and that's that he was looking for that series. Then he goes and hires Simon over Kristina when she blatantly was the finished product and he wasn't. He contradicts himself all the time!

It's almost like watching Scarface where you see the hero getting high on their own supply. Sir Alan has had the monopoly on this show, but is also wrecking it IMO ![]() Quote:
he probably already knows who he wants for the job already.Everyone else is expendable for the producers to play with
Sir Alan has a cheek to say that Raef's project was too much staged..................what about his own shenanigan's throughout THE WHOLE SERIES? |

I'm still in a state of shock. What on earth were Siralan's reasons for sacking Raef he had the whole package imo and should have won.

I'm pretty annoyed the Raef's gone, he was a great character to watch every week, very charismatic and entertaining.
I think the show will suffer a great deal without him, certainly my interest in the show is now on the decline. .....Roll on BB in 2 weeks.

Raef being fired is one of the, for me, weirdest decisions SAS has made since The Apprentice began. I normally agree with his firings or at least see where he's coming from but with this one, there seems no logic behind it.
Claire was never going to go this week so forget her. But Michael has made severe severe errors almost every week for the last few weeks and played as much a part as Raef in this week's failure so if that doesn't call for a sacking I don't know what does. Raef had a shaky first week, but shone when he was project manager early on. Since then, he has been consistant and steady IMO and I cannot think of a bad error (apart from this week along with Michael) he has made yet he's gone?? |

From the preview it looks like
Spoiler
Sir Alan is great at getting us hooked, but he doesn't half make some daft decisions. |

Digital Sid, please don't post potential spoilers in here ! (inclduing the word "she" is a bit of a spoiler too)
I'm trying to avoid them so much at the moment and in a thread called Speechless about Raef's firing there doesnt need to be spoilers IMO! |

It's only one person's opinion so doesn't really qualify for a spoiler tag anyway.

I could say Michael will go next week as he is crap but thats just an opinion whereas what he said was more an guess on what he say and worked out from next week's show |

Much as Raef was my favourite, I wasn't surprised he went last night.
I can only hope Sir Alan is saving Michael for a spectacular firing event. |

Agree with the OP totally and have done a similar thread on the subject.
I'm still coming to terms that there are two rafe-less episodes I have to endure. I say two because hopefully he'll return for the final and help a finalist to victory and show Sir Alan up for the egomaniac putz he is! |

I was too speechless although I had an idea who was going to be fired from threads on here but tried to tell myself SAS will not fire Raef - I'm gutted.
