During the course of this series I gradually noticed that for some reason they seem to severly restrict the amount of time Helene is on camera.

After a couple of comments last week that she never did anything, my reaction was: "how would we know - she's on screen for such a short amount of time".

Last night I took particular notice and the disparity between the amount of time she had on camera and the time the others had was enormous - as, indeed, I remembered from the rest of the series.

It makes me wonder if they are doing an 'Agatha Christie'.

She used to write her novels with no idea 'who dun it', then read them through and determine the most unlikely candidate before going back and adding clues that would point to that person.

Perhaps Helene has won and they have edited the programmes to make her look a lot less of a player to throw us all off track.

God I hope not! She's such a self-obsessed bitch!

Wouldn't surprise me ... such bad decisions all round

I felt they did this with Michelle when she won. I seem to remember hardly seeing her (except when she had a ruck with her team on a Thames cruise after winning a task) until the final couple of weeks. Then she suddenly appeared and won.

I don't think we've seen enough of her to tell.

I get the impression that we are being manipulated.

If you edit all the available 'footage' (what do you call it nowadays - bittage?) so that you only see the worst aspects of someone, you're going to end up with a completely skewed impression.

The same thing happened with Lucinda to an extent.

At the beginning she seemed pretty useless because all we saw of her was her being ineffectual.

Then they started showing a more balanced view and it became obvious that she's actually got a great deal more business sense, and indeed, common sense, than most of the rest of them.

At the moment I just don't think I've seen enough of Helene to come to a valid conclusion.

Hasn't done that much really. I think she will go soon. Cannot see her make the final.

How can you tell?

The fact that she gets about 1/4 of the screen time that the other candidates get means that either she literally does nothing of interest or she's being deliberately kept 'under wraps'.

I suspect the latter because a lot of people seem to assume that because they don't see her doing anything she actually isn't doing anything.

I think she's definetely in with a chance but I dunno if she will win. She's got a good chance though.

I think she will definetely go far because that's the reason they are editing her out , it happens every year with the winner so that the outcome isn't predictable.

Also , a primary reason people dislike Helene is because of her treatment of Lucinda and because she apparently "bullied" her.

With the negative Lucinda edit this week and next week too judging by the previews , and with Nick going as far as to say that she "plays the victim" I think they may possibly be trying to justify Helene's comments to Lucinda as to not make her appear as a bully after all. Damage limitation maybe.

but im not choosing who makes the final/ winner, Sir Alan is, so by judging on his recent firings it wouldnt surprise me if Helene was to win
