I could easily imagining sitting sharing a few glasses of something nice, whilst chatting to Scott. With Paul I could imagine no interesting conversation and masses of painful (excrutiating!) biting on my knuckles.”

I wouldn't mind listening to some of Paul's stories and he wasn't afraid to show us his true character, unlike Scott. I do remember the time Paul talked very movingly about how much he regretted having an argument with his grandfather shortly before the latter died so there was soul there.
Scott may very well be a nice bloke, but I found him utterly nondescript throughout - and I don't think I could tolerate his nose-picking and flatulence for very long.
