OK - it's just a thought, but play along with me for a while.
Cameron comes out of the BB house as the winner and yet at the time he should be doing the whole media thing he jets off to Chicago. That means he misses out on a lot of appearances while people would still be remotely interested in him.
Seems strange, doesn't it? Now I don't for one minute buy into any idea that he's shunning the media limelight. No, this is a boy who's played a very careful game, ably assisted by a media-savvy family.
Keep reading - I'm going somewhere with this.
Shammy gives crap interviews. He's inarticulate and relies far too heavily on facial gestures and that doesn't make for a good telly presenter even on the God Slot.
Now I can't remember the exact figure, but I have read that Endemol cream off a percentage of a winner's earnings for the first couple of years after they leave the house. A lot of time, effort and money was invested in Shammy and they'll want to recoup that.
Sooooooo, would it make sense to shove him off to the States and while he's out of sight of the tabloids, get him a few lessons with some sort of coach? Not an acting one, but I'm sure there's people over there who make a living out of grooming people to deal with the press and TV - making a silk purse out of the proverbial sow's ear.
