A: The big majority.

easy really.
I dont know what circles you move in if you dont know anyone who voted for Cam, perhaps if you hang out with teenagers in Comic book shops etc, you might not meet many Cam fans. I personally have a good cross section of friends and most of them at least quite liked Cam, loads of them thought fed was thick, scott dull and jon a smugarse.

Cam was voted for by people who appreciate his 'down to earth' ways, and aren't juvenile enough to be taken in by arrogant big heads, or narrow minded enough to dislike someone simply because they are religious.

CAMERON ROCKS.........................and won!
”

No safety in numbers. Millions of morons in this country read The Sun.

Thats right, just convince yourself of your supposed superiority.

Because the British were temporarily less stupid than usual as far as Jon and a couple of years before Anna were concerned. People in general seem to prefer simplicity over complexity which is presumably why so many bought into Cameron's persona and voted for blue collar Craig and ladette Kate. It was quite obvious from the outset of their respective series, that neither Jon nor Anna really would win, but their popularity was very reassuring.

That's a bit rich, "Poo Poo", and rather petty. Do you actually have a point - or are you just pedantically picking up on minor points just for the sake of it?

It's not just Cameron's remarks - it's his whole personality that was consistent over the best part of nine weeks. Vile man.

To suggest that people have taken a dislike to Cameron simply because of some admittedly thoroughly nasty remarks is far too simplistic. It's *him* the anti-Cameron camp don't like, not just what he says.
”

My point is that your post made no sense and was wildly exaggerated. I didn't simplify the reason for people disliking Cameron - you did. Apart from his couple of 'nasty remarks' what was there to produce such a strong feeling of hatred?

This is old ground. Read the threads written over the past nine weeks and you might get an inkling if you haven't worked that out already.

I can see what you are trying to say but the main difference was Anna came second with only 2% less of the vote than that numbskull Craig whereas Jon was evicted weeks before the final. I don't think their paths were so clearly marked from the beginning as you suggest.

Let me just say something.

Why do all you Cameron fans think he should of won?
He was the boringest one in there.
One of the best nights in there was the leprechan night and why?? because Cameron wasnt there to stop everyone having fun!!!
Cameron only won because he went to south Africa. if he hadn't of gone, he would of been out! He got off nominations for 2 weeks and why? cause he went to Africa for 3 days. No point in being off noms for 2 weeks!

Cameron doesn't drink.. i have no problem with that but what would you rather see.. drunken people getting up to mischief or boring Cameron reading his bible?

I think its pretty obvious what is more fun!
I cant believe he won!

I never knew why they decided on two weeks either, do you think it was because Gae had two week immunity ( and yes I realise the SA voting was different too) and they wanted to treat them alike?

And Jon was evicted during a split vote double eviction gimmick, so this isn't all that straightforward, and half a million people voted Jon back into the house a few weeks later.

Agreed. The leprechaun Irish pub night was one of the best moments of BB4. Ray, Lisa, Steph, Scott and Nush all contributed more or less equally to the unfolding group dynamics. Cameron was completely superfluous - and had been ever since he returned from South Africa.

Here is the best way to enjoy
big brother follow the polls and
near week 2 should give
clear winner which in majority
of polls was cam. Place bet
whether u like him or not
and make profit. You dont have
to like the winner just bet on them
dont get emotiionally envolved and
happiness is yours.

There was nobody in the house I particulary disliked and I can only put the dislike of Cameron down to a predudice about his religeos views that I share as well.

The only comment I found a bit OTT was Ray's about bashing Steph but he is an emotional chap Cameron was a decent chap and I know lots of people who voted for him.

I did not bother to vote at all as I consdier it a waiste of money

However I did make 2,500 betting on Cameron to win. The AOL pole constantly had him in the lead as the most popular person.

I voted for cameron as did all my family and friends. He was very popular and deserved to win.

I voted for cameron. I was also a Jon fan. I voted jon back into the house, but am glad he couldnt win, that wouldnt have been fair.

I dont agree with his views about gay marriages, but I was surprised to find out that my gay male friends also dont agree with marriages, they only want equality to married couples with the legal and monetary issues.

All of my family and friends have on many, many occasions said they would love to kill someone, strangle them etc, and none of them have ever meant it, and I am sure cameron didnt either.

The reason I voted for cameron is simply because I didnt like the others as much. I dont find watching people acting stupid while drunk very funny or entertaining. I far preferred the night that Cameron and Ray were in the reward room.

Hold on a sec.... no way was Cameron boring! You can have fun without drinking. He spoke and was always involved, unlike some i could mention. And it's not fair to say he only won because of the africa trip. He survived a few nominations, most notably the one where Fed and Jon were evicted.

Without meaning to sound like a prude (i'm not one, honest!) I'd rather see Cameron being his charming and gentlemanly self than the others being drunk any day. I wish more men could be like Cameron (well, perhaps not quite so bible-bashing!!) instead of sheep who just have to copy everyone else.

Perhaps if Cameron really was "charming" and "gentlemanly", I might agree with you.

As for role models for other men (and women), I don't really think *any* of the BB4 housemates are truly suitable candidates.
