Does anybody use a universal remote with Linux?
My Harmony 688 has had it and I need a replacement. I would go for another Harmony but I only run Linux now and I'm not sure I will be able to use the configuration program.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Thanks for the ideas. I had already run a search and found those sites. The Concordance program seems the most promising but on Ubuntu I think I have to install it from source code but should be worth playing with. I doubt the harmony software will run under wine, I've had problems before with software running under wine when it needs to access a usb device.

Anyway I didn't like the look of any other remotes so I've gone ahead and ordered a new Harmony. Will just have to put windows back on a small partition somewhere if I can't get it programmed under Linux.
