Easy to guess some of the finalists... so thought we would make a list... obvioulsy might not get them all on it but at least it is a bit of fortune telling on DS! Not in winning order but we could update the list as the shows go on

Post who you think SHOULD be in the live shows and WHY we will update the list as we can We have done 20 spaces... yes we know there will be 40 but lets whittle the acts down before the TV show can!

Ones lower down the list have less chance... unless you think otherwise!

Suleman Mirza & Signature - Michael Jackson Tribute - WOW!
Scala - Urban String Quartet - AMAZING!
Urban Gypsies - Funky Belly Dancers
Dean Wilson - Showtime Singer
Faryl Smith - Singer
Flava - HipHop Dance Act
Andrew Johnston - Singer
Sophie Mei - Belly Dancer
Daniel Pirei - Dancer
James Stone - Singer
Strike Force - Martial Arts Performers
Teresa Nguyen - Child Pianist
Gary & Vinny - Not sure but funny!
Space
Madonna Decena - Singer (ish!)
Susan Childs - Hat Poetry - WHY DIDNT SHE MAKE IT!
Lydia May - Showtime Singer
Chungdokwan - Martial Arts Performers
Phil Blackmore - Juggler (ish!)
Tracey Lee Collins - Singer (ish!)
We will put the acts videos HERE

If you think we have misssed someone... please post and we will add / chance the list!

Good luck to everyone who makes it anyway!

Simon Cowell will make sure they get through no matter how it goes

Some odd choices for the semis.

I'm glad that Gin the dog and George the dancer got through - I was getting worried when I saw another collie going home

George and the 2 (good) kid singers is no surprise. Mind you, seeing the 2 kids against each other will be an interesting contest.

Wonder if a dance act ever has a chance?

There's that 14 yr old boy who was rejected last year - now through this time and a host of street dancers/troups that we really never get to see the full routines. Do you think the producers deliberately cut their acts on air - in favour of others?

I think they had to put him through this year, i guess they felt guilty not doing so last. It's quite annoying we haven't seen a lot of the acts, and they put a lot of crap through to the 170 and probably to the 40 as well. From the auditions they screened, I would probably have sent about 4 through per night.

Did Nemesis from Milton Keynes get through, they were the street dance act on tonight's show? I see that Flava did which is great.

Anya and SWKM are rubbish but Alex wasn't funny. I do think they treated him awfully with the "come back" thing - I think they might have just expected him not to. It was the right decision not to put him through but they shouldn't have raised his hopes. Poor kid was crying, I really felt sorry for him.

Regarding the post about dance troups and length of time shown. This been a costant gripe for me, all the acts similar to the Mini Mezzos/ Cheeky Bits of last year hardly got any airtime! Even though put through! Also Nemisis! But a good rival to Flava.

Possibly a heart over head decision, but i would have put him through, great personality for an 8yo lad. He still had more talent than some but seeing him cry was tough.

Yes, admittedly. But he isn't good enough to win it, even that said, i quite like the lad, he's got a personality. Shame seeing him cry.

As i said, what annoys me most is they had him on, he can't sing so they stop him, and then they say if he comes back as a comedian... he comes back, they put him through and raise his hopes, and then they just don't put the poor kid through. He's 8, it means the world to him and he reacts, predictably, by crying his eyes out.

The 2 kid comedians they were deliberating over, i thought alex was more naturally funny than the slightly older charlie anyway and he might have took rejection a bit easier.

I quite liked Andrew the plumber, and the group that were called Nemesis, which were very synchronised indeed. I actually think Nemesis were better than Flava when it came to keeping in synch. They STILL weren't absolutely perfect, but hey, maybe I'm expecting too much here. Nemesis did have me drawn to them a bit though. Unless Simon HAS to choose a certain number of acts, therfore, letting in the ones that he doesn't actually think will win this contest. Because I really do think he has taken pity on some of the acts that have appeared before him.

Totally agree, some acts put through because there will always be a section of viewers who want to see the silly acts, and unfortunately simon knows this and is prepared to sacrifice a few for the 'tv show ratings'.

Interesting point re: flava and nemesis. I was maybe thinking nemesis were slightly better but we didnt see as much of them as flava who had more of the story with the mom. But both are very good anyway and can only improve.

Well spotted. Look at the other thread too, very odd. ITV employee or an 'official' "Suleman Mirza" campaign? And who's 'we'.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=802291

ITV have been known to do this before. Not so subtle then either. Maybe they are just getting desperate because they can't fiddle with the voting anymore.
