lol yeah i mean the way they were holding each others hands last week was a joke lol

the best thing is that i'm certain when the reviews would come in opening night, she would prove them wrong

He'll grin and then burst into floods of tears.
Saying "I think the public made the wrong chioce tonight. I thought that samantha was fantastic" three times. I'm down on my knees here to ask for a re count!"

If I could overlook the poor acting, the very poor movement and the average singing then I'm sure she'd be perfect.

What ever. If you think that her singing is average you should get your ears removed.
They are obviously no use to you.

I think this part is made for jessie i honestly do, I think if she wins, she will prove everyone wrong, she has got star quality, her voice is amazing, we can't make any judgement in acting, but I think conveys the most genuine emotion when she sings which can only be a good thing, and her movement works in her favour for this role

May I kindly direct you to 0.59 secs of the Spy Who Loved Me group song on youtube (week 7).
An utterly gorgeous vocal!
Other examples include Buenos Aires and her lovely higher register in Who Will Buy.

I dread to think of what you'd say about the others singing if you call Jessies average!

May I likewise direct you to the whole of 'Stop', a fabulous song by Sam Brown that Jessie simply murdered...and that wasn't the only one.

agreed. But you know some people like the more boring pop vioce. Not me however I prefer something more original. Sam and Jodie sing like a alot of singers that we already have.
And although Rachel gave a few questionable performences I really like her vioce too in Buenos Aires. Her and Jessie were the best in the duets, hands down.

Why can't we? We've seen her try to act several times and quite frankly it's not been good. The fact that the acting tasks have always been aired after the votes are in has kept her in this competition so far.

I'd also question why you think her movement (or lack of) works in her favour?

we are shown seconds every week on any of the girls, and so if we are going to use that i could say she is good at acting as denise told us in week six

her movement us clumsy and ungraceful, i wouldn't expect nancy who has been surrounded by men all her life, working on the streets to be graceful

It's ok in my oppinion, a little bizzare at times. But she isn't really that bad.
Anyway who's your favourite, princess Sam or wonderfull, em not! dancer Jodie.
As for acting I'm not sure any of them is that great at the moment from what I've seen.
Jodie can only do one expression from what I've seen, a terribly worried look and Sam a nice cheery smile. At least Jessie has a range of expressions although not the best cockney accent in the world.

I'd like to remind people that this is an 'appreciation' thread. Post on something else if all you can say is negative stuff. Goodness knows there are enough Jessie bashing threads!

....in which case she now ticks one of my boxes. Just acting and singing to go and she's made for the role

Still rooting for our Jess

I don't believe there would be anything 'graceful' about the character Nancy, not with the lifestyle & environment she would be in.
Jessie's rawness would make her the most authentic here

No it's not. There's another Jessie Appreciation thread of which I'll stay well clear.

Flip me, do you have the show on mute or something?!
She has a beautiful voice, best there, and shows clear musicality.

lol erm well acting it's hard to convince as we aren't shown enough, but if you watch the emotion in her face at the end of her song this week it shows she genuinely connects with the words lol and as i say in week six mission we are told she does well lol

and as for singing, it must be down to opinion as i think she has one of the best voices in the competition, but as i say it doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone

Ok well even though it's not titled 'appreciation', it's about wanting Jessie to win in the final, not saying she's useless.

That is an option when she sings but thus far I've endured it. No response to the comment on Stop I note

This isn't an appreciation thread and as such I'm entitled, allowed even, to give a neutral opinion.

I just love it how the Jessie fans are now putting a positive spin on her ungainlyness...Alastair Campbell, eat your heart out

Well yes I thought that would be obvious to most people. But perhaps I should have said fans only.
I didn't word it right. Not everyone has to support Jessie. But saying that she's useless just really irritates me.
They think they know more than ALW who's made a fortune out of musicals. No I have to say it, a lot of people in this world are totaly up themselves.

i personally think jessie has had the most consistent vocal in the competition (bar fighter lol) she has never cracked on a note (like jodie and rachel), in fact i don't think she ever has been out of tune (bar fighter lol) i don;t think her vocal was a problem in stop, it was her movement

No, we realise it might be a problem for her in the future but it is actually an asset for this role.
