I've said a few times over the last couple of weeks that there is something odd about how little screen time Helene gets compared to the others and I wondered if this was because she was the winner and they wanted to make it more of a surprise.

She'd have to really shine over the next couple of weeks, though otherwise it would just look weird.

I think it will be a Helene vs Lee final. I think Lee will win it. As useless in general as they both are, Lee seems to be slightly less useless and has had his moments.

I was talking to my flatmate, and she was saying it was all over wakefield newspapers that Helene wins. Didnt really believe her at first, but I was really sure either Sara or Raef would be in the final. Now thats gone out the window, I can believe anything.

I have always thought that Claire will win it simply because in SAS's eyes, she has changed upon his say so. I think he sees a lot of potential in her in the sense that he criticised her about her mouth and she changed that about herself to a certain degree (not that I'm implying that I personally think she has changed as a person - she might still be the same). So, in essence, he sees her as mouldable to his organisation. That's what SAS wants and that's one of the reasons why I think he fired Raef. He probably thought he was too rooted in his own ways to change to his liking.

I don't think Lucinda has, or should have, a chance. Michael will be gone. Helene is a bit of a dark horse but I think it is between Claire, Alex and Lee.

My preference is for Lee. I think it will be Claire.

I'll be extremely surprised (and very disappointed in AS's judgement) if the winner of this series is male.

The female candidates are, to my mind, far stronger.

I have a feeling you may be right. But somethings nags at me about Helene, maybe she could pip Claire, Alex & Lee at the post and give us a suprise ending. The only thing is i dont think Helene makes a good PM unless she is allocated PM again and really shines.

We definitely need to see more of Helene in action.

She's obviously very unpopular with a few people here although I feel the grounds for her unpopularity are largely spurious.

What are he faults?

She bitches a bit? They all do.
She's made bad decisions? They all have.
She backstabs? With a couple of honourable exceptions (now departed) they all do.

I get a definite feeling that with certain candidates some people take a dislike to them and look at their every appearance to see if they can use it to reinforce that dislike.

We need to see Helene as PM in another task where she can really influence the outcome (I have a feeling that the car thing is going to be pot luck).

I'm not convinced that she's the strongest candidate but I'm equally sure we haven't seen enough to determine that she isn't.

So you don't think Lucinda deserves a chance at the final but you think Alex does? may I remind you that Alex is an idiot. He really doesn't know what he's doing, he demonstrated that by the fact that he was always on the loosing team and in last weeks advert task. But he won, you might say, well yes he did but the only reason he won was because the other team completely messed up their add, he got lucky. Lucinda may not be the most obvious apprentice but she is a good manager and has contributed a lot of good ideas.
