What annoys me the most is when you have a thread titled
'What size shoes does Barry Humphries wear?' (this is a made up one of course) and it turns into:

I've posted regularly on here since the start of the series but must admit I've been put off reading and posting much for the past couple of weeks. I've definitely noticed that it seems to have got a lot more negative and personal about the contestants.
I didn't come on here during the Maria or Joseph shows so I'll have to take people's word for it that it was the same for those two shows in terms of getting worse as the final got closer.
Maybe its because there's obviously only a few girls left to talk about and people are very firmly behind their remaining favourites. Being a Sam supporter I've been pretty shocked by quite how harsh some of the comments have been, to the extent that I've been put off reading a lot of the threads and have stuck to certain more 'friendly' ones.
