Whats her being fat got to do with it? Not that she is fat, and who cares anyway, it's about talent, not Britains Next Top Model, that's on Living TV luv.

Jodie or Sam to win

Jessie for me; her ability to interpret/tell the story in a song is much better than Jodie's (who tends to belt it a bit)

Well looks like the public voted the way of the DS Poll. I think it was pretty much accurate with public feeling.

Jodie came over as nice, a good performer, but not Nancy for me. Fortunately she won't be doing many shows.

and how do you figure that. The notice of the shows she's doing is just a precaution after the sound of music had problems, it's nothing to do with Jodie and she will be able to manage much more than 4 shows a week. But as it says on the announcement this has yet to be confirmed.

I'm so glad Jodie won!
I thought Jessie wasn't a strong contender at all, she couldnt even speak properly in my opinion! And i thought that Sam was far too young to play the roll of a motherly character!

Woop Woop for Jodie!

Glad that Jodie won on Saturday as she was one of my favourites at the start of the competition. The others who did not win the role should get something I hope.

It's already up to 6 shows a week.

agree entirely.jessie was robbed.they deliberately withheld the fact burn gorman was playing sikes because the public would have then voted for jessie.they would have looked perfect together, jodie looks like burns aunt.

Singing is about more than being able to sing in tune most of the time. Jodie couldn't show fear or any complicated emotion really, and she only ever sang ballads because that's the only thing she's comfortable singing - I don't think the faster numbers worked for her at all.

Jessie could show more complicated emotions, but her accent was bad and her acting was awkward. I actually feel that Jodie had more flaws than Jessie, as she should be able to show more emotions at 28 (especially after all she's been through). In the missions of weeks 2 and 9, Barry and Denise said that they were disappointed with Jodie's acting, which seems to have been conveniently forgotten about.

Jessie wasn't my favourite either, but she has more potential and depth than Jodie does.

OLIVER…Lionel Bart’s Masterpiece…Director Carol Reed… Shepperton Studios…
Cast Inc…Ron Moody…Oliver Reed…
I was on this film for weeks and was in awe of the whole production.
The first day was as an extra on the ‘’Who Will Buy’’ set and I could not believe what I was seeing.
The dancing, the sets, the hundred or so extras all dressed in costume was as much as I could take in, I thought to myself how lucky I was to be on such a film and would have worked on the film for no wages. (Then I thought of the wife and kids at home so the first thought went right out of my head.)
Art for art’s sake but money for the kid's sake…(old English proverb)

Maybe you are unable to understand english then.
And by the way, Nancy aint no motherly character, she never had kids and was basicaly one herself.
She never came across as motherly in the films to me, more like one of the kids, but older.

Oh sorry, it's isn't, isn't it. Sorry perhaps one isn't able to understand what one is saying...
Fool.

When you critique other people's grasp of English, it helps if you don't make obvious mistakes in your own writing.

I find it interesting myself that one of the leading contenders in the Canadian Maria is very much a "Jodie" type, namely Donna. For all the caustic remarks I've seen here about size, a significant part of the public seems to treat it as incidental.

And I think announcing Burn Gorman's casting would have worked in Jodie's favour rather than Jessie's, given that Burn is nearly twice Jessie's age. If they'd cast Gareth David- Lloyd, who's a little taller and broader and a fair bit younger than Burn (and also auditioned), then Jessie would've worked better against him. Given that Burn is 7 inches taller and 6 years older than Jodie, I think they will work well together.

Just want to say, that the words I used are part of the english language aswell. And that it's got nothing to do with you.
