Morning Guys & Gals,
I'm going to replace my old Bush CRT TV this week (I've never liked it from the start) and I'm after a 37" flatscreen (may as well by HD ready plus freeview) somewhere not too far from £500.
I was going for the Sony KDL-37P3020 (37" LCD £500 delivered) as the user reviews I could find seem quite favourable and I seemed to be getting a lot of telly for the price.
But - last night I saw an advert for a Panasonic TH-37PX8B (37" Plasma £550 and I can go and collect from store today). The trouble with this one though is that I can't find any reviews for it (don't confuse it with the more featured(?) TH-37PX80B like I did). The ...80B got some great reviews and so did other similar Panasonc models of similar specs (although the ...80B has greater contrast ratio and shades of gradiation).
Can anyone give me some advice on whether the above plasma is any good and if the extra £50 is worth it please? I will be mainly watching Sky through RGB scart (SD not HD - at least not just yet) and the inbuilt freeview. The occasional DVD through scart too now and again.
Cheers!
Pat
