I could see Jodie in 'Shameless' and Samantha in 'The Stepford Wives'.
Hope this helps. |

If Jodie doesn't win I'd put money on her playing Mama Morton in Chicago before the year is out.

I think Sam would be great in a lot of roles (just not Nancy!!) I could see her in;
WWRY: Meat Rent: Mimi Fame: Carmen or Serena Chicago: Roxi JCS: Mary Magdelene Footloose: Ariel Miss Saigon: Ellen A Chorus Line: Maggie or Val Starlight Express: Dinah (if she can rollerskate!!) SOM: Liesl High School Musical: Gabrielle Sorry if I've stolen other people's ideas there!! Jodie I could see in Chicago: Mama Morton Blood Brothers: Mrs Johnstone Les Mis: Mme Thenardier WWRY: Killer Queen Sweeney Todd: Mrs Lovett Guys and Dolls: Adelaide (maybe) Parade: Lucille I can think of many others, but they might be a little obscure. I think there are loads of parts out there for Jodie, they just take a little longer to think of because they're not the typical "leading lady" roles like Velma or Eponine. Jessie is the hardest; Wizard of Oz: Dorothy Calamity Jane: Calamity Jane Oklahoma: Ado Annie Annie Get Your Gun: Annie South Pacific: Nellie (maybe?) Beautiful Game: I don't know it at all, but I hear it's for Irish girls, so maybe? Evita: The Mistress, perhaps...although this song might be a bit high for her. But the character doesn't have any lines... When she's been to drama school and improved her acting and dancing, she'll be great for loads of parts, but she's not really ready yet. |

Jessie - Annie Oakley/Calamity Jane - bit of a niche market going on, isn't it!
I hope she can improve on her movement and dancing as it would make a much wider variety of roles available to her. Otherwise she could become kind of stuffed.. |

![]() With Jessie - well ok, maybe you have a point. But there's only so many roles for clumsy, tomboyish altos out there, so I was trying to spice things up a bit. She's quite innocent and young looking, although yes I suppose she is way too tall and not really very girly! ![]() Take it you liked the rest of the ideas though - that's not a bad result then! |

Haha, yeah! Why not?! I could def see Sam doing those three roles, unless you think maybe her dancing isn't good enough.

i'd like to see Jessie do any of the following:
Calamity Jane [Jane] Annie Get your Gun [Annie] Jesus Christ Superstar [Mary] When she's older i think vocally she'd be a great Grisabella in Cats The Threepenny Opera [Pirate Jenny/Polly Peacham] Funny Girl [Fanny Brice] Gypsy [Louise] Pal Joey [Melba Snyder] South Pacific [Nellie Forbush] Wicked [Elphaba/Nessarose] Showboat [Julia/Magnolia] Cabaret [Sally] |

Don't thinks its been mentioned - I could see Sam as Wendla in Spring Awakening - and they're casting at the moment. She's got the right type of voice, look and age but maybe not the innocent quality
I agree Jodie would be great as Mama Morton |

I agree Jodie would be great as Mama Morton To be honest, I think there must be a part for at least one of the young'uns in Spring Awakening. I mean, they're casting it at the moment, they are young and with lots of exposure...I wouldn't be suprised- plus another incentive for me to go and see it, and I can't wait already!

I think jessie should stick to singing if she wants a career without further training. She is fabulous but I could not watch her move on the TV that needs sorting before she goes live in MT.
