cant wait to see Only the Brave with niamhh perry and keith jack
If you skip over to the Keith Jack thread there's a few reviews. Everyone said it's very sad but the cast is strong and Keith and Niamh are good in their own roles. I hope it gets extended to a full 2 hour production to go on tour or the West End.

And I'm also a theatre goer who lives in New York. We got discount tickets to shows in college and sometimes friends come into town and will treat us to a show. Classics like "The King and I" and "Oklahoma" are always great. Some newbies were a bit silly like "Young Frankenstein". But "Wicked" is going strong with young adults and just about evey man takes his girlfriend to see "Spamelot" which nabbed the Tonys in 2005.

Booking periods can be reduced if necessary but no closing notices have been posted as of yet for WWRY so at the minute it looks like it will continue to run along with the tour.
At the moment the tour opens in Manchester towards the end of next March. I'd imagine casting calls won't go out until at least November but I could be wrong.

just got back from the eveming performance of cabaret at the birmingham rep as well, another full house tonight, the sign was up in the entry and couldnt see a single empty seat at all, so doesnt appear there were returns or no shows either

fantastic cast, they all worked well, both acting and musically, and i must say, despite all the negativity about sam only being 17, not able to act etc, well she certainly proved people wrong, she was fantastic, the audience loved her, and i heard several comments about no one believing she was only 17!!! and that if you didnt know otherwise you would think she was mid 20's. loved wayne sleep, and jenny logan matt zimmerman and henry luxemburg also deserve a mention, and the rest of the cast were really strong too.

i wish i was seeing the show again!
