New TV and now echo on Sony Dav X1
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could help. I have just bought a Samsung Series 3 "32, and already had a Sony Dav X1 home cinema system. I have connected it all up ok, but there is an ever so slight echo when I have the TV speakers and Dav X1 system playing at the same time. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Also, if you have any picture settings for the TV, that would be great - the picture looks very washed out at the moment! |

Also, given the DAV X1 isn't a Blu-ray player, but does have an HDMI output, is it still worth connecting it to my HD TV via an HDMI cable, or are the other 3 options (scart, S-Video or Component Video) better?

You are getting a stereo clash between the tv speakers and the surround speaker so turn the tv volume off/down.
If the DAV is an upscaling dvd player then it should be connected via HDMI to make the most of this. |
