This my be controversial but I didn't think she did much belly shaking.

She is very good and I could never dance like that but I'm not convinced that she's as good as people are saying.

Any thoughts?

She was not dire or terrible at all. Not outstanding either though, but she did a good job.

I thought it was fantastic - if she was a regular dancer. I really enjoyed it but there wasn't a lot of belly dancing. She won't get through. She's absolutely stunning and has a great figure - I'm not jealous.

She is a stunning girl and was quite good but yes, overrated but you can expect that because of her looks and flesh showing!

But if you see natural Arabic belly dancers, they would make her look like a "belly shaker" because seriously, she aint a patch on them...but the again, they do it all their life since a young age and Sophie probably hasn't had as much experience.

I thought she was really good, preferred her with the big robe things as opposed to just her belly shaking.

Doesn't matter what her dancing is like... somebodies got to say this - I bet every straight man sat at home had a cushion over his lap.

She did a good job, perhaps not a lot of belly dancing but it's nice to see a normal young girl really making a go of it in a show like this I thought.

The girl is absolutely beautiful but I just think her belly dancing wasn't that good.

She didn't belly dance that much, more shook everywhere. Very pretty lady though.

I suspect it's an act that works better close up (like in a restaurant) than on stage.

That bellydancer was lovely. Not particularly talented but still nice. She looked thinner than in the auditions though

I didn't think she was a good belly dancer but she looked really fabulous tonight. Put her next to someone who's been belly dancing all their life and she wouldn't stand comparison but I understand that she has certain charms that might make a few men reach for their ahem 'phones'

If this is who I'm thinking of, then I think the reason that she got through, is because of the way she seductively looked at the audience and the judges when she was doing her act the last time she was on. I could see Simon being captivated by her, the same goes for Piers Morgan as well. I would even go as far as to say that their tongues were hanging out when they were looking at her. But yeah, I think she was only good mostly because of the seductive way she was looking at the audience, and not really because she was an outstanding dancer or anything.
