Thats because alot of the acts are novelty acts, which is good because its 'variety' but these acts aren't usually as diverse so its harder to keep the act fresh than it is for singers/ dancers/comedians etc.

But then people complain that they want unique acts, not singers, dancers etc. But with unique you also get novelty! So the show cant really win can it!

I think its good to have a mix of both singers, dancers, and other more interesting variety acts. But with some of the novelty acts, its like where do they go now?

All the points about Signature being a novelty act are true but remember people said that about Riverdance after there Eurovision performance and they managed to produce a worldwide smash hit show and tour. All it takes is a little imagination and a bit of lateral think because these guys are actually not bad dancers and so could probably produce a 90 minute show.

PS Why not the Michael Jackson musical show? They did it with Take That (Never Forget), Buddy Holly (Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story), ABBA (Mamma Mia!), Queen (We Will Rock You) etc

Fair point! However, my point about novelty acts producing commercial viability is still valid.

I'd certainly pay to see them perform.

His talent is michael jackson impersonator, but he knows that only wouldn't cut it in shows like this, so he added that twist with the bhangra dancers and the Bhangra Vs Michael Jackson

Alone he is still a great dancer but i do agree that there are so many like him.

It seems he is the choreographer because last night he said it is his dream to choreograph a routine for, and dance with Michael Jackson:

''......Mirza and Singh are part of the well established Signature dance troupe, and are no strangers to performing live in front of large crowds. While Madhu has stayed out of the spotlight so far, Suleman has been practicing hard and performing for many years......''

yeah he's been doing shows for years, i remember seeing him in wembley arena or somewhere like that about 2 years back

the dancers are part of the group, see his videos on youtibe, username SulemanInfo
there are all the dancers in his acts

exactly, his talent is a michael jackson impersonator, and he knows that only this wont cut it, so he's got his whole dance group called signature aswell as madhu singh a well established bhangra dancer

the bhangra dancer is also well known and his group signature have been doing small shows everywhere for the past few years and they are very very unique, there is no one i can think of that does what they do

surprise is not really a key thing, none of the other acts have so much surprise

people say that they aren't really that great, but compared with other acts they are very entertaining.

there are reasons to love their act compared to others

1. There are so many kid dancers and ballroom dancing kids, infact there was a whole show about that on channel four once, dont get me wrong, i like their dancing, i think it's great

2. There are lots of people who do the dog demonstrations like the other person show got through, i thought the dog act was amazing aswell, but there is hardly anyone doing pure entertainment like signature

3. Break dancing is great, but the only reason it was better was because he was a young person... i dont really like his act, but i suppose it is talent

4. lastly dancers, magicians and groups of dancers are always going to exist and there are hundreds of these acts that are either too crap or amazing enough to already be on the large scale, signature is a new, fresh and modern dance group

Britain's Got Talent: dancing to the same beat

Quote:
“When a Muslim who performs a Michael Jackson tribute act and a chunky Sikh, carrying a broom, first stepped out in front of the cameras six weeks ago, the viewers were as bemused as the judges on Britain's Got Talent.

What followed could have been an excruciating mix of tastelessness and embarrassment. Instead, what we got was brilliant and hilarious, one of the most un-PC performances ever to feature on British television and a perfect riposte to those who agonise and pontificate over multiculturalism.”

I like them but I am wondering if they are a bit limited and will lose their novelty value fairly soon.
