Karren Brady is ruthless as the Managing Director of Birmingham City F.C..When she first came on board by it's Chairman the Porn Baron David Sullivan. One of the players got on the wrong side of her by making a sexist remark to her and she put him on the transfer list and got transferred to Crewe Alexandria. She has given more sacks than Santa Claus to Managers Terry Cooper, Barry Fry,Trevor Francis etc.Alex McLeish could be next to be fired by Karren Brady.

I'm delighted at Karen's inclusion. Not just because I am a bluenose but because I think the usual interviwers are full of their own self importance.
Karen admits to subscribing to the FIFO school of industry. Fit In or F**K Off. It will be interesting to see how she assesses the remaining 5. 5340robert - As far as I know Pesch went to Luton after he left Derby but I don't -think- he really gets a game. He'd be an excellent coach though, he was always brilliant with the Derby youngsters. |

Maybe she'll have her own version of the apprentice one day then. |

I thought Karen bought something different to the interviewing process. She proved that you don't have to bully or behave like a knob to draw out the best and worst in people.
I thought that some of the other interviewers came across as complete tossers who were more interested in inflating their own importance than finding out about their interviewees! |

But I thought her comment about running the football club at 23 was a bit spurious. Didn't that happen because she was the girlfriend of a porn magnate? Of course, she's proved herself since but she did get a damn good start. |

I'd go along with that assesment.

(especially to certain body parts)!Seriously she was so successful in that side of his industry that he transferred her to his football club which at the time was failing and seriously in the red (light bulbs in the flood lights were deployed else where in the building as they couldn't afford replacements). She turned the club finances around. A gutsy lady who isn't frightened to attend fans forums in working mens clubs and answer their questions and defend board decisions. I'm not sure Peter Kenyon would be so willing. |

I wasnt impressed by Ms Bradys interviewing..
The question about Alexs' good looks (Oh come on..you know your dishy..) was superfluous and had no right to be in an a serious interview. I also felt she gave the girls an easy time. She certainly didnt uncover anything new about the candidates. |

Of course, when you see a short piece describing how a porn boss put his g/f in charge of a football club and they omit all the salient details you do tend to get a rather biased impression. Of course, I should have realised that he wasn't going to pour his money away by leaving such a valuable asset in the hands of an incompetant. Mea culpa! |

I also thought her " sell me a pen" question however"old hat", was very revealing and more useful than some of the other confrontational styles employed by the other interviewers. |

I think she's pretty cool. She wasn't mean or unkind. I think she'd be great as a new Apprentice boss. If Sugar were to quit the show I reckon Brady would be a fine replacement. I don't think she would be as caustic as Sugar so it might make for less entertaining tv but a female Apprentice boss could be the way to keep the show running.
I don't know enough about Brady's career to know if she needs to hire Apprentice candidates but the show is a bit fake anyway - fake office, fake secretary, fake location (Sugar's office isn't based in central London) - so the makers could 'engineer' (i.e. make up! ) a reason why Brady would need an Apprentice. She also likes the more good looking male candidates so a bit of sexual tension in the boardroom could spice things up.

I thought it was really patronising the way that Suralan said at the end 'great to get a woman's opinion'. In fact the whole show was quite misogynistic, what with the male interviewer who seemed to be suggesting to Lucinda that no one who was interested in aromatherapy could possibly make a good business person.

I think Karen should take over. She's got a bit of a sexy vibe behind her ruthless business exterior. Speaking as a guy, I'd rather look at her face than Sugar's rough mug!
I think it's time for a female boss. Sort of a cross between Anne Robinson and Angelina Jolie would be ideal! If that fails, the BBC should hire Anne Widdecombe. ![]()

You lot are sooooooooooo out of the loop! I think we all know the future of The Apprentice is with Anne Widdecombe...
http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/200...10_468x631.jpg I can see the ratings going through the roof with Anne in charge! And the theme tune should be changed to Britney Spear's 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' to suit Anne's sexy image.

She certainly didnt uncover anything new about the candidates. She was concerned with the inconsequential, irrelevant feelings and emotion, and her focus on Alex's sexual appeal was unbelievably embarrassing. She was a girly air-head with nothing of substance to add to the process, and she was unbelievably kind to the fellow air-head Lucinda as part of some sort of girly-bonding. I am suspicious that Brady and Lucinda ended up chatting about shopping for most of the interview. |

Absolutely, she was utterly appalling and an embarrassment to the Apprentice.
