Is there a simple way of being able to surf the net using my TV screen? My Pc is in another room but can the BB and keyboard / Mouse controls be sent on my wireless network so that I can effectively use my TV like the PC? Is there a box available to recieve then transmit to my TV?
Would i have to buy another PC to plug in to TV?

You can't use the TV on it's own to surf the web.

What you might be able to do though is hook the TV to the PC. It depends on what connections you have on the PC. If the graphics card on the PC has a S-Video or Composite video out then that would be a start.

You could hook that up to a wireless AV sender transmitter and have the receiver plugged into a spare SCART on the TV (or AV sockets if it has them). Then use a wireless keyboard and mouse to control the PC.

If you can get it all to work then you might be able to surf the web on the TV.

Failing that it is a PC plugged into the telly. And there are enough threads on that topic on DS to keep you occupied for an hour or three
