I like him. I've met him a few times and saw his concert in Hammersmith last month. I wish he'd do more musical theatre again because he's a magnificent showman but Doctor Who and Torchwood will have him tied up for some time to come. I know there's the possibility of Barnum but has that actually been confirmed?

1. How do you manage to meet him a few times?!

2. I think Barnum has been somewhere, he said at one of his gigs (so i've heard) that they're double filming torchwood 3&4 so he can return to the west end

1. Sci-fi conventions and stage doors. Apart from his concerts this year - and I'd guess that's down to crowd sizes and security risks - he always stays around after peformences to sign for whoever wants anything, even, in my case, when it's freezing cold and his parents are with him. He's very giving to fans.

2. I've heard the Barnum thing a few times and hope it's true. I've seen him do Panto, a play and a concert but not a full on proper musical yet.

I've met him as well and can confirm how lovely he is - very generous and pleasant. I met him after he'd done a matinee and evening show and must have been shattered, but he gave time and attention to everyone, was particuarly lovely to a little deaf boy who was a big fan.

He is even better looking in real life and he had his glasses on which make him lok grogeous.#

He's quite literally old enough to be my dad! He's a year and a day younger than my mum!

And yet I still want him!

Loved him! Him and ALW should get their own show.
Did anyone see him on Have I Been Here Before? They showed a short clip the other night. The whole thing was pretty good though

I think he's great too. He is a talented performer: singer and actor and I respect his opinion. I am sure his strong feelings were based on his experience as a performer. It is very difficult to work with someone who is inconsistent or whom you have to work around rather than as a team. It becomes very challenging for the whole company. Also he understands the stamina required for performing a role every night (or for six performances a week).
JB worked with the Nancys and was able to see their potential, their reaction to criticism and direction. He had the guts to direct (unlike ALW who just had tears in his eyes when Jessie sang for him). He had every right to have an opinion, even if it wasn't what ALW and CM wanted to hear.
I should also mention that he had tears in his eyes when Sam left..

I saw it when it aired, but only by chance. I don't think it was a very heavily advertised programme but it was watchable and good enough for what it was.

Just watched the clip, I am surprised - JB has a very good voice, but awkward manerisms and is inconsistent -- sometimes (like the clip) he hits a home run but sometimes he strikes out.

Yep, just watched it
Loved JB when they were talking about ALW v. CM
Haha, it was really funny when they were on before with Janice Dickinson aswell

And if I didn't already know he was 41, I would never have believed it!
