Has anyone seen Faryl's birth certificate because she would look old for a 15 year old let alone 12. Charlotte Church had a big voice as a kid but this is different it has an adult timbre.

I agree. I thought she butchered the song and it is one of my faves by one of my favourite female artists. When Sarah MacLachlan sings it, it bring tears to my eyes. I was bored by Faryl. This is not to say that Faryl is not a good singer-- she is excellent. The song choice was awful though, and putting my cynical hat on, song with Angel in title being sung by a sweet little girl with an outerwordly voice seems hackneyed.
Have to say I find her a bit freaky. Voice beyond her years- but with no emotional content...it's all rather unsettling.

I can assure you that this girl IS 12 years old, i also think some of the comments about her and other young contestants are a bit harsh, remember these are young children, they have feelings too.
She is just a normal girl that goes to a normal school but she has an amazing voice.

While I do not think they'd lie about her age (I'm not saying you suggest this, just a general comment) she does seem an awful lot older than 12. But I know there are 12 year olds at my school who seem a lot older than their age. I think that's just the way a lot of girls are these days.
Anyway, Faryl to win
You look at Simon when you see her and all you can see is pound signs in his eyes. You look at daddy when she is singing and all you can see beneath the tears are pound signs...
The poor girl doesn't stand a chance. She'll be on crack cocaine by the time she's 16. I really loathe this kind of kiddy exploitation. If she's so good and the parents want her to do well, then send her to a music specialist school. Don't parade her in front of tv cameras. Grrrrr.

I think she's the act that could make the most money - her voice is incredible for her age, and I'm sure wth some maturing and more training, she could be up there with the best of the best.
That being said - I'm sick of singing acts. I don't understand why they don't just go on the X-Factor, unless they feel the competition is too strong on there surrounded by many other singers. I like BGT for the variety, and singing isn't the only talent out there. Probably the one that makes the most money, but that shouldn't be what competitions like this are about.
