Anyone else loathe Amanda?

She has no talent whatsoever.

She cannot act, cannot sing, she isn't funny, she isn't interesting in the slightest. Her comments are so boring (how many times can one person say 'bloody brilliant'?). I actually cringe at the sight of her.

I love Amanda, and she does have talent, she's got more talent than most of the people on here saying she hasn't.

I guess that's what Cowell decided

Something went wrong with his puppeteering then.

That is a matter of opinion and taste. There are many, many people who would disagree with both your assessment of Ms Holden and the programme she appears in

Personally, I find her botoxed face and innane comments, offensive.

In my opinion - as valid as anyone else's - she's great.

I was never much of a fan (probably due to reading too many stories in the press about her), but started to like her in Wild at Heart. Thought she was great in that, and was disappointed she left the show.

I thought she was a bit mean last night though.

It was a matter of taste that I think she looked good last night... that she was a lead character in one of the most successful TV drama's of the year, is fact.

I've never really liked her tbh and it nearly put me off watching this show last year knowing she was one of the judges, I just try and ignore her.

If that fails, I just think of a quote a read in the paper last week, that said something like 'It's nearing the end of BGT and it's been 3 whole weeks since Amanda cried, although admittedly this is probably due to her tear ducts being stretched behind her ears'

She is such a big head.
I never liked her since she very publicly cheated on husband, (now divorced) Les Dennis, while he was in the CBB house.
She makes me cringe especially when she put through Strike just because she fancied them.

Amanda had botox! I dont think so sumhow, she still has lovely features - and only 37, so i suppose its only natural for the jealous type to scream botox.

Can you explain the lack of frown lines and lack of facial movement every time she strikes a new facial pose?

She is so up herself it is untrue.

She admitted it recently didn't she? She said the sun out in South Africa had given her crows feet so she did have botox, but she's held off recently as she didn't want to look 'frozen' on live tv.

Sometimes her lips look a bit wierd, but not sure that that's down to surgery. Overall I think she's looking well.

To be honest, I think Amanda is only there to keep Cowell & Piers in check. Just thing how many awful (in the case of Piers) or marketable but bland (in the case of Cowell) acts would have been in the semi-finals if Holden hadn't been the deciding voice of reason!

cant stand her for some reason. even looking at her is painful

comes across as very fake and really does seem to have anything of note to say ever. its the same old thing over and over again

I like her. She seems like a nice person; not afraid to criticise but she's not overly critical. She gets a lot of unjustified hate directed at her.”

I agree - she's a much better judge than Sharon Osbourne for a start. Couldn't quite understand why she was so averse to the magic act (The gothic couple) Other than that she seems pretty honest but not overly hurtful, though I question her judgement in putting the star wars guy through.

I cant explain it no, but thats because im not a jealous woman obsessed with what other women look like.

Hmmn, I'm not so sure about her not being scared to critisize acts that appear before her. The next time an act comes no where even half of the audience cheers them, just watch Amanda's judgement of them. I've yet to see her not being afraid of going against the audience. It's like she wants to keep in with the audience, giving a verdict that will keep the audience happy type of thing. This is what I mean by if she was more independant with her voting, then I would probably take to her more. Simon on the other hand, now he's never afraid of going against the audience, never. This is one of the things I like about Simon, the fact that he's not afraid of the audience, and he shows it as well. I totally respect him for this. When he's not thinking he's clever by making fun of the acts that come before him that is.

Fair enough but she didn't exactly carry it out live on stage.

I like Amanda. I don't always agree with her opinions but she makes a lot more sense, is a lot more consistent and is a lot more qualified to judge what she is judging than Sharon Osborne.

I'm not keen, she lacks talent herself so it's pretty galling that she judges on it.

I have never liked her. She is what Abi Titmuss is to John Leslie - famous off the back of another celeb (not that we could call Les and John celebs anymore I guess but you know what I mean...)

She does my head in. She started out as a contestant on blind date cos she was dying to get famous. Meeting Les was the break she needed!

I don't find her input to generally be very intelligent and her bit with the 2 guys who took their tops of yesterday made me cringe a bit.

Whether she was any good at said role, is debatable.
