She is a bit of a plastic Barbie doll.

I liked her much better on Wild at Heart.
She is a good actress though since she can turn on the tears like a tap. If I was honest I'd say I wouldn't kick her out of bed. |

Can you explain the lack of frown lines and lack of facial movement every time she strikes a new facial pose?
I cant explain it no, but thats because im not a jealous woman obsessed with what other women look like. She has actually admitted to having botox. |

She really fancies herself.
The only thing I remember seeing her in was that hairdressing thingie show. Even Danni Minogue is more talented. |

I am risking a good flaming but I REALLY like Amanda and would rather watch her than Simon or Piers on BGT. She does wear her heart on her sleeve but she IS great looking woman and I really quite fancy her. And she has actually got a career both on stage and TV. She was a star in the West End in Thoroughly Modern Millie

I like Amanda. People seem to forget she has done the Royal Variety so is a very appropriate judge.
Also with BGT at least the judges are only jokey when they argue and don't get personal like on The X Factor |

Amanda seems to come out of the same 'box' as Tess Daly, Holly Willoughby, Fern Thingy etc. All a little bit 'plastic Barbies' ..... but I certainly wouldn't say I hate any of them.

I've said this in another thread, but I'll say it again in here as well. I hated the way Amanda started talking over Piers when she started critisizing him for calling the magicians on tonight's show arrogant, yet, she wasn't happy when he started doing the same thing to her. Who on earth does this woman think she is? I honestly think there's a bit of dislike between them both, seeing as though when a joke was made about a kiss between Amanda and Piers, Piers instantly called for people to start voting, when anyone else could have just smiled and shook their head. If this is really just friendly joking between them, then they are doing a pretty good job of convincing the public that they aren't very keen on each other.

I think she's a great judge and should replace Sharon on X-Factor.

She annoyed me when she did'nt let piers have his say on the magic act, I think she is hot but sometimes she has to stop thinking about herself!.

I get annoyed when she's jiggling about in her chair dancing to the music - but that's because I am annoyed that the camera is showing her rather than the performer - not because she's actually doing it.

Can we get over the fact that she cheated on St Les. Whats the connection with the fact that she is ... what did the poster say? an "adulteress" and she is not allowed to criticise the magic act. God, lets brand her with a hot iron. I cheated once years ago, and I didnt like the readers wives woman. Is that okay? Or should I have my hair cut off and be paraded down the street (reference to film Ryans daughter) or be buried up to my waist in the ground and shot (what they do to women in certain countries).
Apart from that I do get a little irritated with the way she shows this wonderment at variety acts like the contortionists - she's been in variety herself and its like she's never seen this thing before. But Simon does this too and surely he's seen variety acts. We're about the same age and growing up they were on telly all the time. |

If when you call Piers Morgan a stuck up git, you are referring to last night's show, then it's okay for Amanda to talk ovoer him, but it's not okay for Piers to do the same thing to Amanda? Tit for tat. If she can't take it, then she shouldn't have dished it out to Piers.

Shes soo annoying. Its double standards with her. One second shes drooling over strike (which i can understand), the next she wants deans of magic lady to cover up!

I find her fake and incinsere, she's also had a lot more 'work' than just a bit of botox done.
She needs to remember that she was the third choice for the female judge after Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole turned it down. |

I am not a fan of hers but she doesn't annoy me as much as the chalk scraping on the blackboard voiced Denise Van Outen on the I'd do anything prog.

She reminds me of a sober Paula Abdul. Sweet but vacuous.

I do wish she'd stop crying - it's her 'thing' now and I'm sure she does it for show. It's so predictable.

Are some people in this thread blind to the fact that it was Amanda who started on Piers first? Or is it just a case of people not wanting to see anything bad in Amanda?
