I thought Amanda Holden was OK in Cutting It, but haven't seen any of the other things she's been in. I do think they could have picked a more entertaining judge though.

Syco have realised with all their talent (and I use the word loosely ) shows that having this love-hate relationship with the judges is what makes the shows so popular.

Amanda was a genius choice for a judge she's controversial and lovable at the same time just like Sharron.

Partially true - but I fail to see how it's relevant.

I think if Amanda started being independant with her voting system, like being able to think for herself, instead of just saying the classic 'I agree with Piers' line, then I might start taking to her more. This is one of the reasons why I like Simon as a judge so much, because he doesn't hide behind anyone, unlike Amanda. I think if she could think for herself more when voting, then people MIGHT start taking to her a bit more..............might anyway.
