A SPECIAL TREAT FOR MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM:
THE "LOST" TV EPISODE FROM BB2 USA
Note: For most Brits, BB4 USA has been their first viewing
experience of the American version of BB. Based on some
questions posed by Forum members about the previous
BB USA seasons, I thought you'd enjoy viewing the actual
TV show from season 2 when there were only 3 HGs left
in the game:
Will - known as "The Evil Doctor". He was the Miami Doctor who won BB2 USA . Most of us Yanks consider him to be the best BB contestant ever. His humorous bits in the Diary Room were hilarious. During the season he went from one of the least like HGs by the public to one of the best liked.
Nicole - the Atlanta chef who had a complete meldown in the latter part of the season. She "fooled around" with Will in the hot tub. This caused her irate husband to send a Banner Plane message over the BB house to her during a critical HOH competiton. This caused the usually high-strung Nicole to freak out. (CBS bought out the banner plane companies & such messages are now forbidden). But they were sure fun to watch on the live internet feeds while it lasted!
Monica - The New York city candy store owner who was famous for her expressions like "It's awwwwnnn!!" and "I'll co-sign that" etc. Unfortunately, her late cousin had worked in the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. (When this horrendous
tragedy unfolded, the producers told the HGs about this in the Diary Room, providing them with just basic info & few details).
CBS has that entire TV show (divided into 9 five-minute clips) on their old site. (Link below) If you right-click on it you should be able to open it up in Real Player & be able to view the video in a larger size.
This episode never aired because of the extremely tragic events of September 11, 2001. When U watch the videos, please keep in mind that with only 3 HGs left, there just wasn't the kind of intense strategy sessions, mind games, back-stabbing & psychological manipulation going on that was so typical of BB USA (with more HGs in the BB house).
BB2 was the 1st year the new Producers took over the show & completely revamped the entire format. That's when the creative idea to empower the HGs to do the actual nom/evicting was the key catalyst which transformed the show & made it so unique. But at that time the actual Competitons for the HGs weren't as cool nor elaborate as the following season was. And they're even better this season!
