Thank God for that - I thought I had lost my soul! I just don't "get" him at all. Yes he's an OK dancer and seems like a nice enough kid but that's it really. Would much rather have seen the madness of Hoop La go through but am delighted that ghastly little Vegas Boy got booted.

I did think that George was better when I saw him in an earlier show, but I just got the feeling that in this performance he may have sort of lost it and just did anything that came to mind on the spot.
Think of that old clip of Boyzone on the Gay Byrne Show and you'll know what I mean. ![]() If Boyzone constantly get mocked for that old clip then why was George so good and even seen by some to be 'amazing'? I genuinely believe that it was more about the set, the music, and the production values, rather than the actual performance. |

Your wrong about George, he isnt a nice lad at all. He is some evil machivellian type character who acts overwhelmed to make amanda cry and people vote for him, the evil little genius.

Another very talented youngster but I wonder if he, like Andrew Johnston, will be able to conquer his nerves at the finals.

There's thousands of people around who can body pop way better than him. Way, way better. Also the stuff on youtube is popping. George is a Breaking, Popping, Street Dancing and Breaking dancing and there aren't many people on the internet (bar those from actual crews) who dance to the same BPM as he does. He's very very good. |

The voting public got carried away with the music , the light pole, & rain props which more than compensate the mediocare display of "dancing" by this guy.
I'm sure if Flava had the same props they would have easily gone through also. Sorry but George is a very ordinary body pop/ breakdancer whatever you call that kind of body movement. Youngsters esp at that age or even younger dance the same way these days just look at Cruz Beckham & he's only 3 or 4 yrs old!!! George is nothing special & hardly a talent let alone spectacular. |

George is nothing special & hardly a talent let alone spectacular. If others are that good - put them on the show. This guy is very very well known across the North West and it's not merely down to anything other than hard work, showing his skills in public and being very good. People in the know think he is good - |

Cruz Beckham has been taking lessons from a professional dancer who is Geri Halliwell's boyfriend.

People in the know think he is good - You make it sound like George is a phenomenon....you must be known to his family the way you're selling George on here. You want to see a great body pop, breakdancing etc performance then you only have to watch those contestants on So You Think You Can Dance...maybe George can learn at least the basics. Look you just have to accept that others will not like George's performance & even be as passionate as you when it comes to being a fan of George....that's just how it is. You win some you lose some. |

LOL The people on So you think you can dance are gimicky and at times out of time too. It's very much theatrical and bravado a lot of the times so you don't see what they are doing. Actually, I'm talking about America's Best Dance Crew. The people on SO you think you can dance, if you're talking about the poppers, are just geeky man who can't dance beyond 60BPM and are just popping. That's it. Just popping and doing strange moves like that. It's a dance craze in America. You don't have to be in time to the music. You just change shape when the song shifts - Breaking is completely different. This is Popping http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WAyTK6jF5o8 This is Breaking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbDkRNxsR4w This is Breakdancing http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Tyxlaib9UF0 This is urban/streetdance http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=H3nXM6ZFhUs George does all of them and he pops in time to the music and also at a faster BPM. |

I thought I was alone in feeling completely underwhelmed by George's act.
Dancing in a puddle is not talent as far as I'm concerned. And I'm also against acts being given a second bite at the cherry. Once you've auditioned and been rejected, that should be it. |

I think we will be more impressed if you actually show clips of George doing all those moves.
Until then AFAIC George is a mediocre mover & without the rain props he would have been found out to be just that "average". Ciao. |

Firstly your final two paragraphs. Know what you are talking about first and then this will not be a discussion. I accept you don't like him but if you make a comment that negates the factors in place - you will be rebutted on that.

What next? Singing using any notes in an key instead of a melody line. How do we judge crap if all it is IS crap? ANYONE (Including me) can stand there flapping my arms around out of time with any music but to call it dancing and me a dance would be a massive insult to people who can. And to future hide the fact the he can't dance by saying that you don't have to dance in time with the back is just teenage stupidity at its best. He is crap and can't dance. Any and all the excuses on the planet are not going to change that. I really have now heard it all now - Dance out of time and sing any tune to any backing. Truly pathetic. |

They're on Youtube. He's already done them if you notice but since you can't, then I can thoroughly understand how you don't get what he is doing.
Most of the country can. That's all that matters. Since you did take some time to search & post those links , you could have done the same for George since you said all his performances are on Youtube.....come on then why not share them with us.....then I might just get it. |

When I was talking about people not dancing in time to the music, it wasn't in reference to George. It was in reference to the poppers on "So you think you can dance". ![]() I actually said, unlike them, George can actually pop to the music. |
