Multivision channels stop transmitting on Hot Bird by the end of week.
TPS merged with the other French provider CANALSAT on Astra. The last TPS channels are supposed to leave Hot Bird in autumn 2008. Multivision channels are supposed to stop transmitting on Hot Bird by the end of May 2008 (this week)

Yup - has been known for ages they were due to go. The Pink channels ceased a few weeks ago.

Does this mean that they(Multivision),are moving to Astra1,or are they ceasing broadcasting altogether?
When are the CineCinema channels going? Has a definate leaving date been confirmed, for them? |

MV seems to be going completely. Most of the Cine channels are already operating on 19E..
Your guess is as good as mine as to if they will transsfer over, although my money is on them ceasing. |
