Excuse me being pedantic, but it is the betters who are being cautious. The bookies (especially Betfair) merely refect where punters are putting their money.

But I agree with your theory. I also see it as Jodie against "the young ones".

Oh, I agree. However, knowing a couple of people in the business, if they thought Sam ( for instance ) was a complete " no-hoper " they would try to attract bets on her to win regardless of the " book ". By the same token, they wouldnt leave Jodie out there at 5/4 risking the chance of a really big punt from a syndicate " in the know ". I can only suppose that the bookies are in the same position as the rest of us..they know nothing.
Surprisinly, a lot of money goes on these shows nowadays, there are people who specialise in this type of betting and claim to make a good living from it.

Yep, on Betfair alone there is almost £100k bet so far.

Big Brother is the biggie, where literally millions is placed, and it has been open to scandals of people having inside information.

Yes, we only need to find one " insider " and we could clear up.

There has been a significant shift...

Jodie 6/5 ( from 5/4 )
Jessie 12/5 ! ( from 7/4 )
Samantha 3/1

That may not mean much, the price of 12/5 for Jessie is only available from one bookie and most likely just shows they have taken a large wager on Jodie ( who they now quote at evens ). Thats Tote Sport if anyone fancies a bet, I think 12/5 is good value..especially if the " inside info " thread is at all reliable.
