OK she can sing, but if that were a mature voice of a 50+ year old woman singing to the same standard, would it have got the same reaction?

I know children are growing up fast these days but I find it a bit unnerving to see a 12 year old looking like she does..... still a child but acts like an adult.

Yes they would have but if they had randomly been apportioned to the same semi-final or if all the dancer/singers were in the same semi-final then No! Simple as that.
