Charlie Wernham

So what did you all think of him?

I couldn't warm to him at all, too cocky by far. A few minutes in his company would have me yelling at him to shut up!

Any Charlie fans out there?

I thought he was okay, very cocky and confident which makes for a good comedian. Shame about the accent though.

Well he made me laugh lol but I don't think its the right place for him. He needs to develop his talent, because its obvious he has some.

Yep, I'm a fan. Think he delievered the jokes brilliantly, most people struggle like that, and he just oozed confidence. Slightly disappointed he didn't get through.

I didn't like him at all.
His rubbish jokes were too much to overcome.

Not one single smile from me let alone a laugh. Sorry.

He's got good delivery and confidence I'll give him that, but he didn't make me laugh. Still with better material and a little time I'm sure he could make something of himself.

Never raised even a smile, but he brought a good scowl to my face though.

Mini Mike Reid/Jim Davidson in the making - and that is not a good thing at all.

I don't care about his age, he was appalling.

Despite having heard all his jokes before, thought he at least deserved shot at top 3 on the night

Didn't do anything for me at all. I love watching kids on stage, but not cocky precocious ones! Jokes - as the panel said - were awful. Even so, I think he could have a future as a comedian, if someone takes him under their wing and gives him some real direction.

The only time I laughed at him was when, for a split second, he thought he was through to the judge's vote.

How we laughed.

I thought that was only me and felt a bit guilty for laughing.

What makes you think that he thought that he was through?

I thought he was the best of the eight, and I voted for him. Most of the jokes were old or rubbish, but some I hadn't heard before. His timing and delivery were vey good.

Well I want to like the kid ... but if he'd been older he'd probably have been buzzed off in the audition, so I don't think he should have been there. Not being bad at telling bad jokes isn't much of a talent to me.
