Definitely nothing special. I've seen singers just as good if not better playing in local pubs and bars.
his performance was copy cat of James Morrison.

I doin't get this comparison with James Morrison - he sounded more like Paulo Nutini

Actually I think his voice has a touch of David Grey too.

I will have to try and resist temptation, seems a Scottish Act can not be successful unless only other Scots put them there of course forgetting that England has a much larger population than Scotland!

No it's just that they seem to always make it a nation vs nation thing. Scottish acts can be sucessful but when they go down the all you scots vote route it gets annoying because they probably will and therefore talent will be ignored.

He's not bad, but he was just OK. Certainly not good enough to be in the final, I'm surprised he got through. I still would've put the footballer through over a middle of the road singer, in spite of his mistakes.

I quite liked Andrew's voice but don't know whether he will win. Thanks for mentioning Leon, the guy was such a non-entity that I spent all yesyerday trying to remember his name after my daughter and I were trying to remember who won the show.

I am not a huge Rhydian fan but she had just seen him at the Millenium Stadium on bank holiday Monday. I just could not remember who had won.

All right lets say you are right and every Scottish person votes Andrew including me Look at the difference in population between Scotland and England, if Andrew got every Scottish vote that may not be enough because we are much smaller!
The media makes it a nation vs nation thing but Scottish posters on here are not the ones bragging Andrew has got through or encouraging us all to vote Andrew just because all these threads on the Scottish vote are usually started by an English person whos annoyed because a scottish act they dont like has got through and because they dont like them they assume that of course no other English person would vote for that act it must be all Scottish because we are that pathetic and partriotic we would vote even if meant us getting humilated!!

I dont like Andrew but I dont believe for a second hes only there on the Scottish vote.

i like Leon but in fairness Rhyd was 100 times better then him, he was just a special talent and has since perfomed for the royal family and other high profile gigs and is making an album which is set to be launched states side also...leon was a lovely lad and i quite liked his voice (it had a lovely tone) but rhyd was pure class.

I have to agree with you. He also held the stage well. I wasn't that blown away when he auditioned but I thought tonight he'd greatly improved.

I don't know that he'll get a big break from appearing on BGT but you never know. The market place is full of male singers and it the ones who are singer/songwriters that stand a better chance. Having said that, even they find it hard to break through.

I think he's absolutely lovely. I didn't think he'd go through, I thought Jeremy was going to instead (I liked him too, very talented), but I was so happy when they put him through.

He's just lovely. He's got such nice eyes and a nice smile, and he makes me smile for ages when I watch him. He just makes me happy.

And I like his voice too. I don't even like Paulo Nutini, so I don't know why. I just think he's great.

oh and forgot to say i do like andrew but i think it woudl have been better to seem him x-factor to see him grow(if he was up to the challenge) over a series of episodes

Don't like his voice. Paulo Nutini's version is far far better.

That's because he's making his album. We didn't hear about Leona at this time last year either.

I am also a bit bothered about him being in the final. He is Scottish and I am badly worried we will have a rerun of The X Factor last year which was ruined by Scots voting for Leon when Rhydian was clearly miles better.

If Andrew beats Faryl or George it would be such a travesty.”

In YOUR opinion. I thought that Leon was far better than Rhydian in MY opinion

I voted for Leon and I am not a Scot. He wouldn't have won if people from other parts of Britain hadn't voted for him, as well.

I got bored with BGT and haven't watched for a while, so don't know what Andrew Muir sounds like. Good luck to him and the remaining contestants, all the same...

Andrew didn't do anything for me at all tonight. I was actually a bit bored listening to him to be honest. He just sounded a bit like a pub singer tonight, and was very surprised when Simon sung his praises. I was starting to think that Simon was now wanting to keep well in with what the audience wanted. I thought he was good in his first audition, but tonight it's like he was forcing his lyrics out. There was no melody hardly in the voice at all really. Yep, I'm very surprised that Simon decided to put him through.

I thought Andrew was OK - not brilliant, but OK. Would be interested to hear a different type of song....

I can't understand why this Paulo Nutini impersonator is through to the final, he's sang 2 Nutini songs in a row now, badly. I was surprised he didn't sing 'New Shoes' by Nutini though, especially when I saw what he had on his feet, maybe he'll sing that in the final?

I thought he was very good myself.

he looks like the Snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan and his voice is remotely Mick Hucknill

and jeez them Cheese shoes , but hey he is 100% better than Leon what won Xfactor , I liked Steve Stone better
seems the order on stage determines results , and don't get me wrong , i have said faryl will win since the audition shows

I thought he was very disappointing indeed. I really can't understand how he has made it to the final.

One can tell he has listened to that song ad infinitum - he has every pause, phrase and word copied from the original. A one trick pony perhaps?

Having said that, he was preferential to that awful child "comedian" and maybe the footballer should have kept his balls in the air!

Blimey, are you serious? Oh well, each to their own I suppose.

I didn't get him at all. Didn't move me, wasn't wowed by his talent. Nothing special, and I can't understand why they're making such a fuss over him!

He was good nothing great, though I rooted for him over that football guy.
