Scala and Nemesis.
Absolutely no doubt.
This whole fixing thing of saving the supposed best act to last and not randomising the whole process it is incredibly unfair on all the other acts. And the fact they open the phone lines the second the last act has finished their routine to ensure the public vote for them first as they are fresh in the mind of voters, is really ridiculous and favourtist.
This is all incredibly transparent - and based on the recent controversy with phone-ins and voting across all channels and programs, I'm confused as to why they are shooting themselves in the foot in this instance.
I'm surprised there havn't been any formal complaints made about this, either from contestants, contestants family or the public at large.
Simply, the producers should have completely randomised the lineup, and had the confidence to know that the public are bright enough to vote for the best/most likable acts through to the final.
I understand that the production team might be nervous about being embarrassed if the process was random and the last act(s) happened to be weak or one of the purpousfully placed joke acts and they happened to go through. But at the same time, they are giving the public absolutely no credit at all.
Now, we are almost certain to have a very mediocre singer go through, with a sob story, but no substance, longevity and little talent.
