It says NOTHING about the God Bloke creating lots more people. (Unless you want to twist something til it fits) so therefore a lot of "Begatting" between mother and son must have taken place!

i dont agree with the way jon made his arguement but i agree whole heartedly! i have always found myself respectful of religions but i still cannot comprehend how someone can believe in a mysterious being that controls the world. i mean we are still teaching children that god lives in the clouds! without giving them a chance to find their own opinions first! the entire education system in this country is appaluing because they would rather segregate children by religion rather that ability.

Go over to GD and read my views. As an ex teacher I am totally opposed to teaching Religion in schools. People should be free to find their own faith or none whatsoever. I am also totally opposed to the Church and State being linked. They should be totally seperate. Now, I really am off to watch FA

the only thing that baffles me about religion is the idea of a soul! according to the bible there is no such thing! i mean during judgemeant day every single body will emerge and become live IF they havent sinned! (population 20)! and since souls pass between different bodies then the whole idea is disproved! how can every body emerge without a "soul" if there is one "soul" shared between say 500 bodies?

higher powers that think they have the gift of god! a random name springs to mind, george W bush. these "higher powers" think they have the gift of "god" and yet seem to fall flat on their arses! anyone else thinking on the producers from endemol?

But it does say something about other people in the bible. Genesis starts off by telling us that God created Adam and Eve and that they were the first people. It does not say that they were the only people who were created around that time.

If you were to read Genesis 4;00, 4;15 and 4; 25 it is pretty clear that they were other people existing but that they were not the main focus of the story. It clearly says that Cain left his parents (Adam and Eve) and met his wife.

Since you chose to bring the bible into it by stating that it's alright for Eve to sleep with her son I ask you again to tell me where in the bible does it say that Eve slept with her son.
