One of the plants i have (the Sunburst) has vertical pods.
I have about 10 chillis growing so far and there are still loads of flowers on both the plants. I am not sure what the other one is doing (the Dorset Naga). It's a completely different type of leaf and is more shorter and bushier, it hasn't started flowering yet so will just have to wait and see what happens.

(I should have an identity once the fruit is big enough - they're reasonably hot ones (nowt like the naga of course) and are hardy wee things - I've even grown them outdoors up here!).

), give it a couple of weeks now and if the spray hasn't cleared them, try wiping the plant(s) down with slightly soapy water (a little squirt of washing up liquid works best).
