Last weekend CM mentioned that Rowan Atkinson was in the show but he didn't mention BG.

On CM's website it says RA will be Fagin and full cast to be announced shortly. There's no mention of BG. Perhaps he is waiting to announce BG when the full cast is announced.

I don't think it's been spoken of anywhere other than that one Daily Mail article from weeks ago. I would like it to be true as Burn Gorman's a good, intense actor but I'm not holding my breath tbh. I wouldn't be surprised if the rumour started out of someone's wishful thinking.

I would guess they are holding back on casting Bill Sikes until they know who is playing Nancy.

Burn Gorman would be good, though. I loved him in Torchwood.

It says in TV Quick that Burn Gorman is playing Bill Sykes. I don't know how reliable they are.

Don't think so. I see Sykes power as psychological as much as physical and BG could do that.
