What does everyone think of him?

I liked last night's performance, it was a good choice of song and he delivered it well, IMO. He lives a good 15 minute drive away from where I live, so i'll be backing him in the final.

Anyone?

I think he's OK but, to be honest, he's like a Paulo Nutini tribute act. I hope, on the final, he'll move away from Paulo songs, do something completely different and then we'll see if he's got a future as an original artist in his own right.

Simon likes him though, so maybe he'll get some good advice today and we'll see the real Andrew come through tomorrow night.

He was my favourite by far last night, just watched his first audition on youtube now and i prefer his version of rewind better than the original, although i do agree that he should move away from the Paulo Nutini songs he would be a great stand alone artist!
He should have went for the XFactor instead, he would have killed Leon!

I agree that he needs to step away from Paulo Nutini songs, and create his own identity. He reminds me alot of Leon from X Factor. Both from small towns in Scotland, both are very modest and both were big fans of Paulo.

I hope Andrew (Andy?) does well on the final night, i'll certainly be voting for him but i'm not getting my hopes up. He has tough compitition.

I thought i'd take advantage of the busyness of the forum to bump this thread up and hopefully attract some more fans.

I would like to see him do a song not by a Scottish artist. I know he auditioned for the X factor and I would love to know how far he got!

I kind of feel like I have seen him before somewhere. I preferred his audition, I didnt really like his performance yesterday but I'll see how he performs tomorrow.

Hopefully he'll turn you into a full-blown fan. I really liked his performance yesterday, it was definately the best of the night!

I am surprised Simon seems to like him for some reason I thought Simon wouldnt as I half expected him not too.

I've said this loads of times on here, but I'll say it again anyway.

I think he's lovely. His face makes me smile, and it keeps me happy for ages.

I really like his voice, even though I'm not a Paolo Nutini fan. Obviously he's not as good as some of the others in the final, and he hasn't got a chance of winning, but I'm happy to see him in the final.

He's just lovely, and I could watch him for ages.

Wasn't really a terrible outfit. Just the trainers and the watch, but it was Yellow Day in Scotland (says the presenter on BGMT).

I like Andrew he's a humble guy...Not keen on the ol fashion but that can be sorted out with a good stylist :P

I'm backing him 100%, but he's got really hard compitition. If he doesn't win () then i'm backing Kate and Gin.

He's either trying to be David Gray or Paulo Nutter.

And we already have those. He'll fade away into plumbing again.
