OK, we'll beg to differ.

I'm afraid I'll have to beg to differ again. Their disappointment is not just because they didn't get through, which like you say has happened to many this week. It's also because through their own actions they blew their big chance. Therefore for me, it's understandable they feel considerably worse than others who have been knocked out. Indeed, I'd suggest their disappointment is perhaps derived more from them letting themselves down, rather than not getting through.

Put simply, their disappointment caused them to get emotional, and they couldn't explain how they felt. I really don't feel they have shown themselves up. But as I say, perhaps it's best to agree to disagree.

Yeh. There is an edge to Nemesis but it's like they've put more effort into it but are also more naturally talented.

If you have the patience, you'll find a link to a story about Escala. It's earlier on this thread. It'll be during their act or slightly after. But you're not far wrong.

This is the first year I have ever watched this.
I have been strangely drawn to it even though I can see through all the 'tricks.'

I'm working tomorrow night but I will record it.

I'd never vote though.
But I cannot predict who will win.
My guess would be either Escala or Faryl.
But I'm not sure.

I'm sure I've seen them before too - on the street but also professionally.

Apparently they have had a deal and entertained the X factor wrap party at the request of Simon Cowell and invited to audition!

What about the little boy who sang swing, and sang one of his dad's mate's awful compositions? He lost out purely for that song, and he was very gracious.

I know they're disappointed, but they're adults and if they want to make it in show business they'll have to learn to take the knocks! It's a bloody tough profession

Craig is a pro, so were the magicians and quick change acts.
All receive remuneration for their work.
All probably have Agents.
All are probably members of Equity and/or the M.U.

I don't see a problem.
Why is it deemed to be one? I don't understand.

Since knowing this information, I would be outraged if this quartet went on to win the show.

Missed this gem of a post in all the excitement. So have we made up our minds yet?

Personally I thought he really liked Gin and I'll wager he'll vote with his heart if she's in a "sing off".

If Charlie had been in this semi final tonight he would be through to the final.

That's a good point, actually. I think the issue, though I could be wrong, is that Simon has seen them before and they might therefore have been the pre-determined winners, but like I said I could easily be wrong.

I like them and if they do win I'd be happy with the result.

i really am off now but wanted to say that one of the things I love about these mass TV watching threads is the genuine humour which is so enjoyable. It's hard to watch the telly and keep up with the thread but you make me laugh guys. Thanks for that.
