I'm curious as to what other parts people see the girls playing if they don't get the role of Nancy.

I personally see Sam in Les Miserables playing Eponine. I can see her singing On My Own beautifully as it isn't too big a part for her.

As for Jessie I'd love to see her in Mama Mia as it takes a certain type of voice to be able to pull of Abba songs. In fact her voice would lend itself to most roles although a lot of them require dancing which I am having problems getting around. I'd love to see her in We Will Rock You but that has so much movement in it and although she would bring the house down with her voice I think she needs some dance training for the movement side.

With Jodie I could see her playing the part of Mama in Chicago brilliantly. But I think casting her is going to be harder just because of her gravelly voice which I personally love but obviously the songs needs to lean towards that type of voice.

Jodie as Madame Thénardier, Les Mis
Sam as Sarah Brown - Guys and Dolls!

In terms of Les Misérables, I could see Jodie as Madame Thénardier, and perhaps Francesca as Fantine.

I could also see Fran as a great Ellen in Miss Saigon.

Samantha I think would be quite good as Ivy in bare, though I don't think there's any chance of that getting over here.

I think Jessie's crying out for a revival of Calamity Jane or something like that, because she can really play on her tomboyish traits.

I'm slowly coming 'round to the idea of Niamh as Wendla in Spring Awakening, as well.

I can't think of any more off the top of my head.

There is another thread about this - perhaps they could be merged??

If Jessie were to play Calamity Jane and/or Annie Oakley that would be absolutely class.

There have been gazillions of threads like this already, but anyhoo.

I don't think Sam would be a ver good Eponine- the judges keep saying she can't do vunerable (and I agree)- surely that's gotta be Eponine's main trait, especially in On My Own.
