I so want them to win but don't realistically think they will. I think it's between Faryl (good but dull as ditchwater) and Escala (pass the vomit bucket).
Kate has work colleagues and college friends but she spends a lot of her time with her dog. So what? What about young sports people, musicians, etc, who spend most of their time with their racquet, cue, piano, guitar, etc? If you have a passion, why not pursue it? Whatever that passion is.

I was pretty much like her when I was her age. I had acquaintances but I'd been let down by too many humans, so-caled friends, too many times in 16 short years to invest too much time and emotion in them. It was just me, my parents, my piano and my cat who would follow me everywhere. My cat lived for 18 years. It was difficult losing him but I got over it. I've also gradually got over the inability to put any trust in humans.................. just!
