I'm just so bored of these David Grey type sounding male acts.

Andrew is another.

They're just so bland.

I loved how an audience member shouted "you should have taken your tops off" when it came to Amanda's critique!!

i loved their audition, they were actually my favourite out of all the singers in the audition rounds. However they dissapointed me tonight. I don't know if it was just nerves or what but they were really out of tune and for that reason they didnt deserve to make the final.

I agree! How the hell that "houswifey dancer" or whatever she was supposed to be never got buzzed (especially by Simon) is beyond me!!

How she ever got through to this stage beggars belief.

Its because it was a different singer.

It is very strange that they'd change the lead vocals. Smacks of a 'producer decision' tbh, especially considering their reactions afterwards. I can't believe they'd be that pissed off if it was just their fcukup. Also the "we come on, sing, play the guitar and then go home" was very sarcastic.

Maybe what happened is, they got there, some higher up made a decision to change around their vocals/change the song, they didn't want to, and then promptly got told that they're just a pair of Tesco workers, they come on, sing, play the guitar and then leave, and if they don't like it then fcuk off.

It's a nice conspiracy theory anyway (and not too unlikely if you know how these shows work)

We too thought maybe something like that had happened.
I was really looking forward to them, but was suprised with the song choice as its one Journey South did and they are a bit similar in sound.

God the tall one is really, really fit.

I was really surprised by how things played out tonight, I was really impressed by them in the auditions and expected them to thrill tonight - unfortunately they didn't (although I didn't think it was awful).

But the reaction OMG, totally hilarious. The tall one clearly feels as though they've been stitched up somehow.

I felt sorry for them. They were not out of tune were they? Maybe I have bad hearing but I thought the judges were quite cruel with their comments considering none of them can sing.

I prefered those boys singing to some of the other boring acts last night.

The tall grumpy one was definately out of tune in several places, not so much the guitar playing one, tall grumpy also sounded very weak in a couple of places. I don't think it helped them either that Simon had David Cook on American Idol singing that a couple of weeks ago, and he absolutely brought the house down with it - they sounded increadibly weak next to him.

The judges weren't being cruel, just honest sadly. Why they changed lead vocals I've no idea, but a very bad call as the shorter one obviously has the better voice.

It's odd how we all view things a bit differently. I thought the grumpy boys was the only bit of genuine emotion in the whole of this week's staged nonsense. I got the feeling like some others that they'd come to the show this week under the mistaken and naive belief that they were entering a fair talent show where they could present themselves as the underdog heroes and win through to become the new Journey South.

But then the producers told them the truth that tonight the winner is to be the posh totty and we'll put through the young dance act as we've already written Simon's speech for the final about young kids today getting bad press but blah blah. The truth probably hurt because everybody there must know what their role is. Some are there to be laughed at, some to get their story in and an appearance on GMTV. And their story was to just come on sing, play guitar, then bog off back to Tesco. The producers certainly didn't want them cluttering up the final when there's legs to show.

So they came on, probably after a blazing row with someone, gave an angry performance then got off as fast as they could. There's a story there, and a real one I think, and not a Madonna-like sick bag session. They were just about the only act I felt sorry for and didn't want to throw things at.

They walked off of stage as far as they could when they knew they werent through. How childish and pathetic and also arrogant as they clearly thought they would get through.

They are not even very good, there were quite a few bad notes and it was boring

Amanda pressed her buzzer too early and I think that really upskittled the lad. Couldn't help but feel sorry for them really. Not being stage school types they obviously weren't used to the cut throat aspect of the industry.

The song was bland and they were out of tune, but I did feel a bit sorry for them being buzzed when Madonna fluffed her words up and no-one buzzed her. It shows double standards. The problem was that if you are doing a loud, energectic act you can get away with the buzzes as they dont realy put you off............but singing a slow ballad, the buzzes totally knocked them for 6 and you could see the peformance worsen after that.

It's clear that the judges used them as their sacrificial lamb for the night, as they wanted to ensure Nemesis and Escala went through. You could see how shocked everyone was when Amanda buzzed, it was obvious it was pre-planned, look at the dross she has happily watched all the way though this week.

However, I do agree the tall one made himself look a bit of an idiot after. He knew he had messed but but acting like "Kevin the teenager" in a strop was never going to work or get you votes. Look, in contrast, to the football juggler the night before..........he messed up too, and got negative comments, but he had the confidence to carry off the interview after and it obviously worked as he still got votes and ended up in the top 3. Throwing a tantrum was just clearly the wrong thing to do.

If the producers made them sing that song and made them change their style they should have said it when they had the chance.

The shelves were stacked against them.

I thought they started off ok but the sound of Amanda's buzzer totally destroyed them and it went down hill from there.
