They deliberately put through crap acts into each semi so they could buzz them off - this is entertainment apparently.

I did too. Unfortunately, the Tesco lads just were pretty crap and had a reality check, which they obviously didn't agreed with.

The arrangement was that of the Journey South version.

Having lost Journey South, I think Simon saw a potential replacement in the auditions but they were very disappointing on the show last night.

I did feel sorry for them because I thought they were pretty good at the audition.

There have been so many sob stories this week I think some people are now unable to see the difference between someone who is genuinely gutted and trying to take it like a man and someone who is trying to play on it.

But I blame the shows; not the viewers.

Seriously though; I don't think he was grumpy, I think they both knew they had ****ed up royally and probably felt they were not worthy of the competition so were trying to be dignified - even if not the best way to go about it. Part of why I say this is because:

1. There faces during the performance said it all really
2. He outright said that it didn't go well as soon as Ant & Dec came up to them
3. He said about holding his head high

Like he didn't want to leave as a deluded act or something to that effect. Even though from the audition there is obviously talent in there.

More story behind it, his statement meaning something? I dunno.

The thing is, if you're going to sing a slow song like "First Time..." you have to be spot on with your singing. Songs like that will show flaws up easier than quicker 'audience sing-a-long' songs. I know when I do karaoke somewhere new, I'll sing a sing-a-long song to check out the mood of the crowd!

I think any chance they had of being hired by anyone has been ruined now by their diva style tantrum they threw on both the ITV1 and ITV2 show. They should have taken a leaf of Madonna's book for losing gracefully.

Throwing a strop means no-one will touch them with a bargpole now. Feel a bit sorry for the short one.

You're right, all the shorter one did was cry, while rent-a-gob next to him basically kicked any future career they might have had in the goolies...

Hi

They were so upset as they were told what to sing by the producers and to swap roles, and they both knew full well it did not suit them.

Also they have had no publicity at all from BGT in the run up to their Semi Final hence the comment "We are just here to sing and go home"

It just a shame they didnt come out with this live last night, but then Im guessing contracts forbid them mouthing off at Simon as he will take them to the cleaners.

Not that any of this matters now as it is yesterday news and just sounds like sour grapes!

I didn't think they were that awful! Amanda said it was hurting her ears or something, yet she sits through shit like that Tracey man

He did look very pissed off though

They were embarassing.

I thought the dark guy was either going to cry, walk off or punch somebody.

Oh, so he reckons that they were there to make up the numbers? There were loads of other acts that were better than them that should have been in their place. A 6 year old who plays piano amazingly for one!

Actually that makes the show look even more fixed doesn't it?

They should have stuck to their guns and refused to change their act at short notice. And no I don't remember them or one or two of the others from the auditions because they didn't bother to show them to us, therefore denying us the right to see all of the acts put through.

It kind of steers you to where they want you to vote - which is wrong.

I thought she should have gone through too! She was brilliant

Do they really tell them what songs to sing? No wonder they were mad

I don't see why they tell them which songs to sing? Surely every man and his dog (not Gin lol) would have spotted their rubbish version every time they were in rehearsals. Because if that was the case, they were deliberately set up to make the great acts look better... wow, conspiracy theories abound here!

I can understand them getting upset, I thought the judges were rude and should have saved their comments until the end rather than eject them right at the starting point.

Whether the viewers rate them compared to to other acts shouldn't make any difference, they deserve to be treated equally and as they had been put through to the semi's, with high hopes and expectations, at least they deserved the opportunity to finish the song with some civility and respect from the panel while performing, and I should think they were pee'd off and emotional about not being given a chance.

I imagine they must have been nervous and to get buzzed and judged by a self important tart like Amanda who has absolutely no talent herself and knows sweet fa about singing.

Hi

All the songs are chosen for all the acts, some are given a choice of 3 or 4 and some are just told to sing this.

Got to remember the producers know they have the acts over a barrell as they are all fame hungry.

Also every act that sings, and I do mean every act is allocated a singing coach.

Some songs are changed at the last minute too, so Faryl was supposed to be singing Amazing Grace tonight but that has now been changed, no doubt to the song they have in mind for a possible single?

I think your probaly right, but if thats the case then why did'nt they say something in their interview, or after on ITV2. Both shows are live, so if they had said it then they would'nt be able to cut it out. They were obviously annoyed and knew they were going home so they had nothing to lose by saying they were ordered to sing that song against their wishes............but they didnt.

Hi

Last post for me, as I said old news!

What they stand to loose is the shirts off their backs lol as Simon will have a contract so tight that you can't even fart out of place, and if you do you owe him 20% of it...

I don't think the little guy playing the guitar was out of tune, it was the taller guy with the black hair. I couldn't listen to it ... it was just painful. I think they did brilliantly in the first audition. It's a shame.

It does seem very strange that they'd swapped over. Didn't seem right.
It's a shame that they did as they were told if they didn't agree with it.

To be honest, a part of me can see why they stropped off. I mean, Amanda buzzing that quickly, yet she happily sat through that munter 'dancing' to Crazy in love (wtf was she doing in the semis?....) and that stupid Tracy man from earlier in the week without touching her buzzer once. I think I would have had a strop too! At least Simon had the decency to let them sing for a bit.

I felt bad for them, but their reaction was really really odd. I understand tears, and maybe not being able to find words, but they kinda looked homicidal/suicidal.
