Surprised to not see a thread for this already.

Simple. Give your views of each act tonight.

Here's mine:

Caburlesque - It was OK. It became quite boring after the first thirty seconds, but the ending was good. 5/10

Madonna Decena - A pretty bad performance. Her vocals were not good and she was out of tune throughout most of the song. Also, the picture of her kids was completely unnecessary. Simon hit the nail on the head. 5/10

Anya Sparks - The "joke act" of the night. Better than I thought it would be, but nothing I would want to watch again. 6/10

Craig Harper - He was better than I expected. His impressions were almost spot-on, although his audition was better. 7/10

Diva Las Vegas - Too much focus on the singing IMO. The dancers were pretty pointless and they could have did more to make the performance more interesting. 6/10

Nemesis - Loved these! Probably the best dance group of the semi-finals. 8/10

Per Diem - Didn't catch these guys, but from what I seen and heard, they were awful and completely out of tune. 4/10

Escala - The best of the night! I thought it would be hard for them to top their audition, but they did! 9/10

My short verdict is I thought all of them tonight ranged from awful to mediocre apart from Escala who were great.

Ta for creating the thread. I must admit I was too lazy to do it myself lol

Caburlesque - Pointless. Fed up of everything on this show becoming overly sexualised. 2/10

Madonna Decena - Out of time and out of tune and didin't appreciate her personal life being brought into the equation 4/10

Anya Sparks - What the hell was she doing there? 2/10

Craig Harper - I thought his act was very good! But again, he let himself down with an attempt at a sob story. We all have troubles mate. 7/10

Diva Las Vegas - Was bored senseless 2/10

Nemesis - Brilliant. Very watchable 8/10

Per Diem - Miserable and off form 3/10

Escala - Classy performance 8/10

Caburlesque - Didn't do anything for me.

Madonna Decena - Out of tune. Too much sob story.

Anya Sparks - Wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

Craig Harper - I enjoyed it but not as good as his audition.

Diva Las Vegas - Not good.

Nemesis - Loved them.

Per Diem - Disapointed me. Don't know what happened there.

Escala - Can't comment on the performance because I absolutely hate that song with a passion. But I like them as an act.

Caburlesque
Another dance act

Per Diem
Perhaps it's me but I didn't think they were that bad. I hate the use of buzzers at this stage. How is it supposed to help the contestant

Anya Spraks
Yet another dance act that could have been done better by someone thinner

Escala
Very talented

Diva Las Vegas
Yet another dance act with a bit of average singing

Craig Harper
he entertained me. For his type of act, he did not have time to impress,

Nemesis
Yet another dance act, although they are better than most

Madonna Decena
An average singer and I hate that song

Caburlesque - Missed their first audition for some reason so didn't have a clue what they were about 3/10

Madonna Decena - Agree completely with the OP but only rate it 3/10

Anya Sparks - Disappointing. I wanted to see the bra straps showing through the halter top for a laugh. 2/10

Craig Harper - I was gutted. His first audition had me laughing so much I rewound and called hubby in to see this guy. Tonight was disappointing 4/10

Diva Las Vegas - Again, missed them in the early stages so didn't get it. 3/10

Nemesis - Absolutely brilliant, and personally I can't dance, won't dance, but I loved watching it. 8/10

Per Diem - Loved their initial audition but just didn't do it for me tonight. 4/10

Escala - Agree completely with the OP. Didn't know how they would get any better but as soon as I heard the opening notes I said "Oh great choice" 10/10

I absolutely cringed for that well made lass that was moving around quite madly, is the only real way I can put it. She just looked like someone who was either dancing whilst drunk at someone's birthday bash, or, just dancing at a Christmas party..........badly. I felt absolutely embarassed for her. There was no rhythmic style to her dancing, she was just basically waving her arms about. I just felt absolutely terrible for her. I could barely watch her to be honest. I suppose I felt much worse than it's coming across in my post really, but this is the only way I can put it across. I also thought Escala was great, and Nemesis were pretty good as well.

Caburlesque - Boring, bland, fairly pointless 3/10

Madonna Decena - Dire, bad song, breathy, out of tune and as for the bleeding sob story i did laugh out loud when she said she wasn't begging for support 3/10

Anya Sparks - Even more embarassing than Aunt Betty at her daughter's wedding. (At least, Aunt Betty was drunk as a skunk when she was on the dancefloor. I, as her reluctant partner will need years of therapy) -2/10

Craig Harper - Audition was ok, tonight - M'eh. As for yet another sob story! 4/10

Diva Las Vegas - Not my cup of tea. Average singer, strange smile. Was there a point to the other dancers? As to her threat to quit if she didn't win - cheerio! 2/10

Nemesis - Good, in fact very good. Not as good as Flava IMO but good synchronisation - 8/10

Per Diem - Dear oh dear. What happened? Car crash TV at it's worst. They looked like rabbits in the headlights. Their faces all the way through showed they knew they ahd blown it, big time. I felt really sorry for them, I thought they could have done well tonight. 2/10

Escala - Now, am I the only one who does not get this. 1. A pale imitation of Bond, nothing original. 2. The backing track sounded like a full orchestration - for much of the time I could not hear what they played. 3. Would they have been so popular if they were not as pretty, or were men? - I would prefer them to play a piece for a quartet to hear what they sound like so that I can judge if they are as talented as everyone else seems to think. 5/10

Caburlesque - It was OK.

Madonna Decena - She's not a great singer at all. She said she didn't want people to think she was begging, maybe she should just stop begging then, because that's exactly what she was doing imo.

Anya Sparks - Very mildly entertaining at best. Anya herself was very likable though.

Craig Harper - I liked the Enrique impression, but I really cringed right after his performance. He started to cry, going on about how he has to get up in the mornings and travel, and how this is his last chance and how he's had a sore throat all week, bla bla bla - bloody hell! He was trying to fit every cliche sob story into one! That really put me off him altogether because I thought he was genuine.

Diva Las Vegas - It seemed to center around the singer and the singing wasn't even that good.

Nemesis - Brilliant, really enjoyed it and they deserve their place in the final. I'm glad that at least one of Flava or Nemesis got through.

Per Diem - Very poor, I felt bad for them getting buzzed though (even though the judges were right).

Escala - I preferred their first audition but this was still a brilliant performance, they too fully deserve their place in the final!

Couldn't be bothered to give scores to most of them, but I would give an 8 or a 9 to both Nemesis and Scala. The rest would get a 5 or below.

1. Escala: Without doubt the best performance of the night and the best performance of the whole of the semi-finals. They're gorgeous, talented and extremely suited to the Royal Variety. I'm glad too because Andrew and Faryl have got some serious competition here and I hope the public vote for these and not for another opera singer.

2. Craig Harper: I thought it was a good performance but I didn't think it lasted very long, but I thought he did well in the time he had. I think his audition was better, and I thought it was a shame he didn't get through. The sob story wasn't really needed either. He had the likeability factor for me and he is definitely somebody I would like to watch again, he was entertaining.

3. Nemesis: I like them, but they are perhaps a little bit overrated. It was a very good performance though and worthy of a place in the final, and they all seem like a nice bunch of people. Definitely one of the best dance acts, much better than those from the other night.

4. Caburlesque - I thought it was a good performance, but not worthy of a place in the final.

5. Diva Las Vegas: I was disappointed. I expected more and they really let themselves down. Not surprised they didn't get in the final. It definitely wasn't a Vegas performance.

6. Anya Sparks: I still can't understand why they put her through (especially when there were a lot of people better than her and it was obvious she would never get to be in the final, never mind the Royal Variety performance). I felt embarrassed for her, however she does have bottle and seemed to be enjoying herself. Plus she made a bit of an effort to look good (compared to her audition clothes it wasn't hard though). She seemed like a really nice person though.

7. Per Diem: What the hell? I didn't even recognise these two or remember them from their audition. Their performance was cringeworthy.

8. Madonna Decena: Didn't enjoy her performance and her sob story annoyed me. We know she's got it tough, but she didn't need to mention it every five minutes and there was no need for the picture of her children to be shown either. These people on shows like this think they are the only people with problems and that it's up to us to feel sorry for them and help them out. They'd be a lot more likeable if they just came out, did their thing and if they were good then we'd vote.

The fifth semi-final was the worst of all. The best of the eight was Craig, but he was only mediocre. Escala was rubbish; they were barely audible and got a few notes wrong.

Caburlesque
- Bit boring tbh.

Madonna Decena - Total Sh*t! Hated her in the auditions, hate her even more now. How the hell she's making a living singing is beyond me.

Anya Sparks - There are no words!

Craig Harper - I enjoyed the audition better.

Diva Las Vegas - Didn't like them at all.

Nemesis - Thought they were really good.

Per Diem - Felt a bit sorry for the Tescos boys.

Escala - Best act of the night by far.

Caburlesque
- Ok 4/10

Madonna Decena bad timing, weird intonation 3/10

Anya Sparks - Oh dear 2/10

Craig Harper - Liked it but not as much as the audition 7/10

Diva Las Vegas - Showstopping number that wasn't showstopping 3/10

Nemesis - Best of the night 8/10

Per Diem - Didn't think it was as bad as the judges made out but cringed at their reaction 5/10

Escala - Couldn't hear them so no idea if they have talent or not 1/10 (for looking good)

I'm glad someone pointed this out. I don't think they are a pale imitation of Bond as I couldn't hear them over the backing track.

I do however take issue with Piers saying they Escala are a truly original act. If he's supposed to be a knowledgeable judge then he surely must heard of Bond.

For those that haven't, they are a females string quartet who play electric violins ( & a cello).

Identical, in fact, to Escala, only sexier.

Escala were note perfect last night, i could hear their instruments fine, especially lovely Tasyas cello. They are more talented and better looking than bond.

Craig, Escala & Nemesis were my favourites, although also took issue with Simon saying they were original ( I am assuming this means he want s to sign them)

Did feel sorry for Per Diem - they did not deserve 2 buzzes - the judges didn't buzz Madonna & I thought she was out of tune as well. Presumably her sob story meant they feltthey couldn't buzz her. Agree that buzzers should not be allowed at this stage.

I kind of wanted a longer slot for Craig. It's easy to show, as a singer, what you've got in 1 minute 40s, but a comedy act needs longer to get going. I know they can't change it - but I think all the comedy acts were at a bit of a disadvantage
