All seriousness i do think she has a unique voice, but i worry for Andrew.

I think Nemisis stole the night for me, they were excellent and get 9/10 from me...

Escala and Craig were also good - I loved Craigs Enrique Inglesias (sp ???) impression, it was very good

I really felt sorry for Per Diem as I don't think they deserved buzzes, just because they didnt have a sob story ! They weren't as good as their first audition but they were better than madonna by far !!

Nemisis or George to win !!!!

My best friend has told me to write this. I don't watch it so I have no idea.

He seems to think it is a fix because all the last acts have all gone through and he thinks it is unfair because the line-up was not strategic enough.

I enjoyed this succinct review, though Escala were a tad over-produced in my view

Caburlesque - not bad, but could do better - 5/10

Madonna Decena - having read earlier threads I was expecting a strong performance. I used to live in the Philippines, loved the people so was inclined to be positive..... I did feel sort of sorry for her, but though her voice isn't bad she can't really sing at that level. Sounded like Imelda Marcos, who periodically wailed on national TV - 2/10

Anya Sparks - they can only have put her through to make an idiot of her. Felt sorry for her, too - 2/10

Craig Harper - urgh! I think that his voice was made for better things, but found the act desperately unfunny - 1/10

Diva Las Vegas - I supose the audition was really good ? Can't understand otherwise :yawn: - 1/10

Nemesis - good performance of the genre - 9/10

Per Diem - quite liked the harmonies, which showed promise - if trained. Training might also help them in terms of reaction to bad reviews. But definitely still pub/ karaoke singers at the moment. Very Robson and Jerome. Felt sorry for them, too (feeling sorry is my forte) - 5/10

Escala - buoyed up to the point of being drowned out by very loud backing track. Wasn't blown away by what I could hear of them, and thoughts of Bond did intrude - 7/10

Have only seen the previous semi, but hope that those who have said that this was the worst were accurate. The only talent that Britain had in this bunch were Nemesis and Escala...

1. Escala: Probably the only act on the night that had real talent. It is clar they have worked hard on the act to give a polished and professional performance. The only act on the night worth going through

2. Craig Harper: A big let down his audtion performance was good but his act in the semi final was not upto it a all. Tends to indicate he lacks good material

3. Nemesis: OK but not particularly good we have seen much better and morepolisheed perfomances in the other semic finals.

4. Caburlesque - Not particularly good. A bit boring

5. Diva Las Vegas: It started off looking as if it would be good and then she started singing or rather attempting to sing. I think Piers had i spot on when he said she was the lead singer and the rest were just there for effect. The problem was she could not sing so it all fell apart.

6. Anya Sparks: Presumably the token joke act. What the hell she was doing in the semi final I do. Perhaps they felt they would be accused of weightism because as sure as hell she was not put through for her talent.

7. Per Diem: There audtion was quite good but their semi final performance was just dire.

8. Madonna Decena: Did a resonable audition performance but did not live up to it in the semi final


This semi was a one hourse race with Escala the only act that raised their game the rest just gave performances well below their audtion ones.
