Being the bookies fave is the kiss of death!

I think the public are going with what the main judges say.
That means John and Denise. They are a little off the mark in my oppinion. They need to be replaced! For the next show I'd like to see someone relevent!
I Know I don't know much about the west end. But it seems that the judges know even less.
But that said. I'm starting to like JB in a weird way He's very funny.
Denise is just such a drama queen. She should be on the stage as herself.

I never listen to the judges lol, it's nice when they are in agreement with what I think, but that almost never happens!

JB I find very funny normally, but cringeworthy on the panel. Denise seems to have reinvented herself as a total sap! BH has tongue dangling from mouth and ALW has got to be the most entertaining judge by far, on any of these talent shows, purely for the facial expressions

As for the bookies, I don't tend to take much notice there either...BUT all the talk of Jodie being way out in front I think has lured us Jodie fans into a false sense of security...not good! People have still got to pick up the phone and vote for their fave. I know it sounds obvious, but don't assume anyone has already won, i.e. "oh everyone has voted for her anyway, i don't need to". Vote vote VOTE!

Lee and Connie were both bookies favourites.

The public haven't listened to the public so far in this competition why believe they will listen to them now?

I meant in this show. Not in general.
Connie and Lee were clear front runners.

Judging by most of the bookmakers odds, I'm guessing the voting between the three are pretty tight. They'll have a source telling them the voting figures, just like with Leon/Rhydian, and can change the odds to suit how much profit they can make. It's got to the stage with these competitions where we cannot trust the bookmakers, since they can fix the odds to make someone look odds-on to win (Rhydian) when in reality they were not the front-runner (Leon.)

Anything could happen tonight.

If Sam nails her performances, then she might make the final 2. If Jessie comes 3rd, would they quickly vote for Sam?

I agree with the Leon/Rhydian quote here

Leon was bottom for a while, and they pushed Same Difference up to the top the night before, and then look what happened

Personally I think it's anyone's game tonight. (and that includes Sam cos people will vote in force seeing as she was in the sing-off last week- me included lol)

Hmm well in the paper this morning I read an article about IDA competing against BGT for viewers tonight and it also mentioned that Jessie and Jodie were joint favourites.

It won't be much of a competition, though- there is only an overlap of 10 minutes for the whole evening.

Yeah I know that, it was more about either the beeb or ITV getting more viewers in terms of millions

Also, even tiny things can happen to change the outcome. Surely whoever wee Gwion does his duet with will get the Welsh vote? Since he's the Oliver that everybody finds absolutely adorable, a partnership with him could spell victory for one of the Nancies.

The production staff will be doing everything in their power tonight to steer the victory to the one they want

I thought about that too. Whoever is the fave Oliver is likely to help swing it for the Nancy.
Hmm actually thinking about it, it could well be part of the beebs plan. Harry is very popular, confident and charismatic and is apparently paired with Sam - is it a ploy to help her win? Jodie seems to be least fave with ALW and CM and has been paired with Laurence who I would guess is probably the least fave Oliver; and then we're just left with the two broad accents

Gwion/Jessie gives her the Welsh vote (Welsh people admitted voting Rhydian when they never even watched the show!) and the Irish vote (all of it now Rachel has been booted off)

Latest:
Simplified but..
Jodie evens
Jessie 2/1
Sam 3/1

For what it's worth...

Due to that, I went to put 20 quid on Jessie.
