Are They Better Off Coming 2nd or 3rd in Terms of Promotion Etc

I can't help thinking that whoever comes third tomorrow will get the chance to sing the final song and do her exit number and get her exit interview etc and the whole end of that show is about her. However, whoever comes 2nd is eclipsed by the fact that the winner has been announced and I don't think they get to sing the final number. Therefore who ends up better off 2nd or 3rd place? What do you think?

You're right about the focus on the night I think, but I think it probably makes 0% difference in the long-run.

At the end of the day, they have made the final 2, sung countless songs on live Saturday night television and had the maximum exposure they could get without winning (The One Show tonight for example).

In terms of promotion, if you don't know about them by now, one more song probably wont make too much difference

Alot depend on the performance. They have had a lot of exposure over the show & even if they lose if they go out on a great performance they can do well. I uspect better then the winner because I dont think any of them are ready for the West End and getting slatted by the critics could finish whover wins. Jodie probably has the biggest risk if she wins because of her age and personaly I dont think she is anywhere near West End standard. It will not go down well with the cast neither. They have to deliver or they have had it.
