Piper, are you about to be embroiled in a major telephone voting scam? Because I have to tell you that, as a BBC insider with secret information, the poll has you a fairly massive 5,000 votes behind the red hot favourite, Mamaboogie.

Obviously, I can't say how I know this, because it would reveal my identity, but you are being watched...

Mamaboogie is the only credible Nancy, with or without hair, even with a broken leg and an appalling dress sense. What can I say?

I have also been informed by SEE Tickets and Cameron (who seemed to be in quite a rush and panic), that Sickness and holiday permitting, we have decided that the winning Nancy is scheduled to perform on Wednesday matinees and Saturday matinees. Until the show opens in December we cannot make a final decision on any additional performances.
